um have u been on some other forums look at the past few pages lol.

Hey yea, Guess what.

Every single person's style of sig's are very much similar. And, I will stick by what I said, not alot of the good people post there Pixel work. All I've seen is like 5-10 people that actually looks good. Then there are like 50+ people, who are trying it for a first time, and they are horrible

And, there are different styles of Pixel work, theres, Isometric, and Non-Isometric. 90% of the people who post here are Non.

i say the jeppoz is by far the best
Anyone who says otherwise is just... weird.

Well pop me in a straight jacket and haul me to the looney house because Zimlem gets my vote. Just take a look at his FF sigs of cloud and squall. I know people who would struggle to get that smoothness on photoshop.

I haven't been here long, but from what I see, Jeppoz is awesome. So is Zimlem.

Jeppoz has cute, cartoony pixel sigs.

Zimlem goes for the realistic look, which requires a lot of patience and talent.

So they're different, but equally awesome.

Awesome work you two have. ;)

zimlem is technically miles ahead of any1

the jeppoz has the best cartoon type look but for realism and smoothness zimlem is by far the best look at the deatial of the sig with the fighter jet looks like and F16 and his shading on neos sig for that kind of shading zimlem kicks anyones sig's wagon but i like the jeppoz more cuz most of the time i dont like the realism look except for squall

Lan Hikiri and The Jeppoz :)

Zimlem is the best one technically, probably has the most feeling for colour, from what i've seen, and it's very impressive.

The Jeppoz makes the funniest and all of his sigs are really good i nthat they both tell a story and are soo well done, in a good style, you can actually see on the different ones he's made he can handle a nice, "all-is-good" sig aswell as darker sigs. but they're all made with humour.

this is what makes pixel art so good, you can really see if a person has skill or not, when it comes to colours and telling a story. i guess i'm more of a traditional colour/painting kind of person. a nice abstract/lighting sig is also good looking and very pleasing to the eye, but most of the time they don't tell the stories pixel work can do.

I don't quite get the point of zimlem's work. They look like brushed photo images but are pixelish. I don't understand why images looking photorealistic should be made with pixel tecnique.

I'm not saying that they aren't skillfully made but I think they would look better with softer color transitions.

The_Jeppoz's style is far from the somewhat traditional pxel art (isometric and small characters) but it looks butt-kicking-marvelous. Or should I say bloody awesome!

Didn't see the KBD signature before, but Jeppoz....you SO nailed it!!

why do you paint with brushes to make it look like photo of someone/something? cause it takes skill and that's what you're good at.

same with zimlem, he's got that talent and there are not many who can do the kind of things he does even though it's a time consuming thing it's his own work instead of just taking a photo with zillions of colours he makes those pics with like 20 different colours.

korla3eaqd3.jpg

I would understand if it was a space issue, but jpgs with full color can easily fit 30k.

I think it's time consuming and it doesn't give as smooth and photo-realistic outcome as brushed images made in PS.

there are different techniques of painting off the comp aswell.

surely there is one way which is best for photo-realistic pictures, but still there are many people who make photo-realistic pictures with different styles, and with great success when it comes to selling stuff.

it's all about finding what suits you best.

korla3eaqd3.jpg

Yep, it's definately a matter of taste. I opt for PS!

The Jeppoz IMHO. His style and skill is unparalled.

If it isn't in your veins, you'll never know.

Jeppoz is good at freehand stuff, but I would love to see somebody try their hand at isometrics. I don't think I've ever seen anyone do a real isometric here on scapeboard... Except me of course...
