Barrows Stats

Do i have the stats to effectively range/mage barrows? I need an extra moneymaker, the piles are getting small *coughcoughconstructioncoughcough*

You would do fine, but it wouldnt be very efficient... I see you would go faster with more tedious moneymaking skills ;-)

Mage is the way to go for barrows, as they're mage defense is really low.

I'm really clueless here. Should i use wind wave or is their a better spell? Also, should i switch to range for ahrim? Will i make enough money to support construction?

 

I know there's a guide on tip it on this, but i want to hear it from people with experience. I'm not saying the people who wrote the guide have no experience, just people to talk to ftw.

Absolutely, you should have no problem mageing barrows. As stated before, it won't be too efficient, but entirely possible. Mage is the best way to barrow, unless you happen to have a chaotic weapon and high melee stats.

 

It's probably a good idea to get a black salamander, this way you could do the ancients + sally tactic.

At 65 magic, you'd have to use ice rush + red salamander. So, I'd recommend at least 70 magic before you try it, as it'll double your freeze length.

That's why it's not very useful to get a black salamander at 65 magic... (I see what you mean though)

Ok when I said "get a black salamander", I sorta meant get 70 attack and magic.

 

But alright, yeah I can see how it can be read a different way. Regardless, getting black salamander is the best weapon because it's fast and cheap.

My biggest suggestion would be to get 55 slayer and use slayer dart at barrows. Other than that, yes it is possible. But it isn't anywhere near efficient.
