We condensed the category down into a single forum to try and improve the activity, but we don't have too many more ideas for improving further. So this is where you, the users of the graveyard come in. There is nobody who would know how to improve it better than those who would use it and already do use it. We really need you guys to brainstorm some ideas and really show us how we can make your experience here better. Want to be my friend? Winner gets a banner and a mention on the tip.it homepage news section, with a link or preview of his clip/gif? - how about a dm/calling out leaderboard/league similar to the tif clan war ranking? three brackets, for low level, mid level and high level pkers [craterslol]?a signupsheet where you can see all the participants and their ranks/points1 tif point for a win etc? Not to mention that they need a lot of proof and lead to some arguments. At the moment, one of our problems is a lack of moderators who actively PK and can organise such a thing. I would love some form of competition if it didn't take too much work to organise, or even could be organised by ordinary users. - the general screenshot thread could be good. I do see loot pictures in the general discussion thread often but they do often get buried as you say. - Making the graveyard a sub-forum I think would do more damage than good. It has had increased activity since it was recently condensed, and I think sub-forum'ing is a last ditch after there are no other choices. A few of us would probably have the time to set something up, but not knowing much about PVP and not being involved in it directly would probably lead to it not being very good. Being realistic, we need to get this area up to a moderate activity, then start recruiting some PVP specific staff to organise competitions. Want to be my friend? Mirror Posted September 7, 2010 Share Posted September 7, 2010 Well after working with Promise on the Death Match Rankings (DMR), the problem was not being able to go forward with so many if's, and's, or's, and but's, that stopped it from progressing. People wanted to rake in points by fighting the same people, etc. I've wanted to get a group wide TET event to have a DMR week or so. Not bring back the DMR, but rather live what it was supposed to be. I really like that idea because it just gives a taste of what is here that is offered, plus it would only require enough man power for a week. :) And yes, some sort of prize would be resolved for this. :rolleyes: I also like the idea of a general loot sticky here, but I don't want to kill any traffic that could be for creating new topics. But, I'd be willing to give it a try for this sake. I personally think an activity to get people here is the best opportunity if we want to see activity here. I know you guys condensed ALL questions to be asked in help and advice, but I like to go to RSOF and zybez to see what people say/think about certain builds. For example, a while ago I asked if I should get rigour in help and advice, but I didn't get that many relevant replies. The problem now i have noticed is, Tipit hasnt developed itself into a Pking forum Hub, where as Zybez has taken a lead a step too far ahead. Its good someone wants to work up things here . So ill give my point of view Get Moderators in this section, who are Tipit members and know a fair deal about Pking. Make a seperate section for Pking videos, i hate having to go through the whole section as a whole just to find a video Do Awards for everything, Pures, Mains, Best Kill, Best Hybird, Best Clan, it is exciting and can attract new members to post their videos or galleries Have like a Guestbook for all Pkers to sign, and give bit of info about them selves. Rs name , When they started playing, What clan they with, Best Pk etc, Make a sub forum - Pking general, where people can ask questions related to pking, if they want to know where to train, pk achievements, making of pkers guide etc Things I dont like Personally about the competition thing, i dont like it. Ive seen it happen on other forums, all it brings is flaming, and not too popular after couple of tournaments, why make something your gonna have to scrap 1-2 months down the line, well its my view no offence to anyone who likes the idea.
