Owned_Nex Posted September 8, 2010 Share Posted September 8, 2010 SS is useless, you already have 99 Str, and, besides WF, Whip+ Defender is always better. Same deal with ZS. The only thing its better than WHip+ZS is WF and dragons. Honestly, for overall Slayer, just use a Whip. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. ZS is good at waterfiends, plus it's better than a whip at dragons with super antifires. Also, SS on crush trains strength, which you have 99 in already; ZS on crush is controlled. The real efficient players used a Whip on controlled before the rapier. It was only ever good at Waterfiends, and the difference between Spear and SS there is like..a few minutes saved per hour, if even that. It honestly surprises me that the Z spear isn't worth more then the SS. It honestly surprises me that the Z spear isn't worth more then the SS.SS does have a minor advantage at waterfiends for less-than-maxed players (besides being marginally faster) in that its crush setting trains strength rather than controlled, and strength xp is more valuable than controlled xp. Also, there is significant demand for strength-training items, and SS is the best strength-training item that gp can buy.
