I intend on using rune crossbow for the caves, but would it be in any kind of interest for me to bring a melée weapon for quicker kills in the lower waves? Also, the past few times I have tried (I always get to Jad) I used broad bolts. They are kind of junky and I was wondering if it would be wise to bring different bolts for Jad himself. My friend once told me that using darts on him is effective. Is this true? If it is, how might I go about that. Inventoryprevious inventories have looked like....4 brews4 super restores3 ranged potions17 prayer potions Well... Would it be worth bringing the holy wrench instead of a prayer potion? Also how could I change this to make it more efficient? All suggestions are helpful. Stats.... September 18, 201015 yr Did you eagle eye the whole caves with that? because you have a lot of prayer potions there. You have a good setup. If you keep failing at Jad, you should consider the vengenace + claws combo. Let me see if I can find that video someone posted before. September 18, 201015 yr Author Unfortunately I do not have 94 Mage. I didn't use eagle eye. Since my ranged level is so low and I use poor quality bolts, it takes me longer to complete the higher waves.
September 18, 201015 yr Author holy wrench aint worth it, and at your lvls you should bring around 6-8 brews. speed in caves dont matter. When I died all of my previous times, I always had 2+ brews left over... I might consider 5-6 brews, but 8 is overkill.

You ranged level is low, indeed, and you could whip some of the waves (not the 360's). September 18, 201015 yr Dunno.I use diamond the whole way through. I would say bring better bolts at least for Jad. By killing him quicker you are reducing the chance that you will mess up and die.

September 19, 201015 yr I've always used crystal bow. I don't think I'd use darts or knives on Jad, cause they have pretty low range. If you attack the healers, you might run into melee range of Jad unprepared
September 19, 201015 yr Don't bother with a crystal bow, just take Diamond bolts for the latter waves, or whole way through if you can afford it, to make up for your low range level.
