September 22, 201015 yr So I was calculating potions I could make to get 85 herblore and I saw that making magic pots = 6.5 gp/xp. I wasn't paying much attention and rushed to the GE to put in my order of 5K clean lantadymes. They obviously bought instantly for less than med. But, now my offer for cactus isn't going through... Is cactus unbuyable? Am I wasting my time? What should I do now? I have almost 50M of a crashing item. Should I dumb or hang on to it and hope it comes back? Thanks for the help.

September 22, 201015 yr I believe he means potato cacutus, which are not farmable. If lants goes back to historic levels it'll cost you about 6.25mil to hold on to them, so if you'll save at least that much making magic pots I'd hold on to them. September 22, 201015 yr Start farming cacti ;-) :wall: The gp per xp only has a meaning when the prices are stable- if you guy ingredients for max and sell potions for min, you'd likely paying 2 times as much as what the number says, so really, you'd first have to check out what those items buy/sell for before making a decision on what to make. If you really can't get the items, you can always sell the herbs for a small loss. Right now, magic potions are 19,8 gp/xp at ge prices. First to 99 Farming on 27. September 22, 201015 yr Author Ok so. 9k for lantadyme, 1.6k for potato cactus = 10.6k - 9.4 for resale of magic potion = 800gp/172xp= 6ish gp/xp? Am I missing something here?

September 22, 201015 yr 20gp/xp is honestly not bad for herb considering the pots themselves are 172xp~ each. if you can actually resell them (which is looking likely), you'll still get some decently priced herb exp. Interactive dungeoneering floor mapper
