Whats the best familiar to use while Abyssing deaths at level65?

 

Thinking either a Terrorbird for energy, magpie for money, or a Abyssal Parasite

Familiar doesn't matter. It takes too much time to fill up a abyssal familiar to be worth it, you should use super energies to save space and not always devoting 1 spot to tireless run scrolls, so I guess magpies.

You shouldn't run out of energy at your agility level.

I don't with lower agiliy while paying attention 100% of the time.

Terrorbird is completely worthless, and you should never run out of run energy. Even if you do, one dose of super energy quickly solves that.

 

I disagree on the abyssal familiar. I believe that it is worth using. Would you throw away your medium pouch? You wouldn't, and an abyssal familiar is essentially the same thing.

In grimy's spreadsheets, the ess per hour rate is less with familiars.

I personally get about 300 ess more per hour with a familiar, assuming using all 4 pouches. HOWEVER, you should not use a familiar if you only have 3 pouches, which is the case for the OP. Thus, Magpie I guess would be the best.

All of his Abbyss ones are the same essence rate. I the only reason I wasn't sure about the essence familiar was that I have 7 essence left after I fill my three pouches which would be what I need to fill the familiar.

 

Also after a few runs I do see that I don't need to worry about energy

Familiar does matter a bit in ZMi, don't use the terrorbird for ZMi because you will almost always have enough run energy if your above 70+ agility.

 

for deaths however i suggest a terrorbird since you will repeatedly be running back and forwardth from the abyss and edgy bank

The line gets a bit blurred when you're 3 pouching. If you can bank fast enough, a lurker/parasite is still better.

 

When 4 pouching, a lurker/parasite is always superior.

 

Edit: I'm talking about familiar deposit, btw. A mousekeys jump of 2 menu choices allows you to both trigger the edge bank booth and your familiar deposit option.

 

Edit 2: Wow, got pouches mixed up in my head. Yes, absolutely use a lurker/parasite.
