If I can, not saying that I will, I'm going to try for 99 Thieving. It's relatively fast and I can profit off it, plus the cape is sexy. Though, Plunder drains the motivation if done for long periods of time. The majority of exp will come from it, but I'll be taking breaks to do other stuff. That's where you come in. What other things can I do to get respectable exp rates, and not want to bash my head against the wall near me.

 

Currently 80, maybe 81 when you read this.

Isn't there a method to 1 click the sorceress garden? Supposedly you could get a VERY good amount of exp a day.

recently i started thieving master farmers. it is slow xp about (80k an hour) doing it the way i was i can tell you more if you want about that.

 

then i tried drawven traders. they catch a ton ( i know you arent 90 yet) but i got about 20k xp in 10 minuets so it was not bad

 

and SG can get pretty monotonous if you do it for a while.

Well not to sure about other methods I have been doing Plunder since 74. I Am running around there on w157. If you want to join. Going to be 97 shortly.

Try doing safes in the rogues den, with a stethoscope in your inventory, bought from the Master thief in there. Served me well when going for 99 and its fairly quick and 70xp per steal. Quite enjoyed getting the gemstones from the safes. Liked it so much I 99'd crafting in the end :thumbsup:

Times have changed significantly to when i leveled my thieving. (Old fashioned knight pickpocketing)

Pyramid Plunder of course one of, if not the, fastest methods. It'll work fine at your level.

 

For slower xpp/h but rather profitable; At around lvl 91+ with Gloves of Silence and Ardougne cape 2/3 you can pickpocket master farmers without fail.

My preferred spot is trapping the master farmer inside the farm store, occasionally letting him move to prevent teleporting. Draynor Market is too crowded these days, everyone failing constantly just slows me down.

Im 99 thiev. I suggest u to do pp with a clan , u can found some on runescape forum , thats great xp , never do solo.

After doing with a good clan 5 people+ u wont solo or do it on pp w any further.

Master Farmer will give you no where near 80K/hr. Close to 40-45K. Having gotten 99 Thieving mostly on MF, believe me, I know. Dwarven traders aren't bad at 95+ but again, 20K xp in 10 minutes, is attainable at level .. 97-98. By which time you should be doing Pyramid Plunder. Only do S.Garden if you have a perfect 1 click method. This is difficult to obtain but can be very fruitful (no pun intended) if you have it.

 

A VERY good method of Thieving xp is actually in the not-so-prestigious Thieving guild. There are volunteers here who offer 60+ xp per pickpocket at levels 85+. Because you rarely fail (~1 fail/9 pickpockets), you don't need to bring food (they take 1 LP - not 10 .. ONE - per failure). Using Ardy Cloak, and full inv. of Gloves of Silence, you can get 110K xp/hr CONSISTENTLY. 100K/hr even without Ardy Cloak.

 

I got 99 Thieving using these methods, hope they help.

Exactly. The only downfall of the TG. However it's good for powertraining, like using Iron to powertrain mining. Same concept.

Ooop. Forgot about this thread. I'll try these when Plunder gets boring. Any other suggestions?
