Vex Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 From what I gather in regards to Void Melee & Void Range, when you are not slaying and do not need the defence these offer a faster kill rate than the usual gear. However with void mage I am unsure the difference between 30% accuracy & magic attack bonus of ahrims. I would be killing mithril dragons with this setup. I can kill them in void melee (with the new prayer bonus can almost last an hour) so from a defensive point of view it doesn't matter. So, what would gain a faster kill rate, Ahrim etc, or Void Magic. And, is there any scenarios in which Void is worth using for magic over Ahrim's. Thanks http://www.[Caution! Hegelstad Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 Ahrims beats Mage Void in any situation unless you have maxed mage gear, chaotic staff, the yellow spirit shield (idk its name lol), Arcane Stream Necklace and Infitinity boots. Also, ahrim's top + deflector > void top + arcane (by 10 magic attack). The difference in max accuracy roll is like 330:328meaning ahrims will net you absolutely no more than 0.6% more kills per hour than void + deflector + ahrims top + wizard boots + soul wars cape + staff of light + arcane stream it'll be less than 0.6% if you're not splashing 50% of the time or more, or if you're idling some of the time you're fighting. also keep in mind elite void has a prayer bonus.
