sumondskull6
I'm currently farming Tokkul (It's a personal goal, always has been, and with where I'm at in game, it's the perfect chance to get it) with melee, using super attacks and strengths, maxed void with a whip, piety and melee pray, using an Iron + scrolls. I'm getting 100-120k tokkul an hour. I'm curious as to how much Tokkul I can get per hour using maxed (elite) Void or Armadyl range with Iron knifes (I don't believe there is a better alternative weapon for monsters with such low defense?), I would pray melee, use eagle eye, use range pots, and an Iron titan + scrolls. I'm pretty sure Void is the best way to do this, as you almost already hit Tzhaar creatures every time, and Void gives a damage boost, I'm just looking for feedback. Also, is it even worth it to use an Iron titan? I'm not sure if it makes THAT much of a difference, and it's quite a hassle to use. Lastly, I'm at 1,428,126 / 2,700,000 Tokkul, does anyone know how much range experience I'd get from collecting the last 1,271,874 Tokkul? If there's anything I'm missing that I should know, then... let me know! Thanks in advance! :^_^:
Quyneax
I don't know the tokkul figures, but here's the setup for low-defence creatures: Void range, deflector, acp, ranger's boots, ranging ammy, accumulator, archer's (i), darts. Steel darts are cheaper than iron knives and the same strength iirc. It's worth using an iron titan. Steel darts are cheaper than iron knives and the same strength iirc. It's worth using an iron titan. I don't have a deflector due to the fact that I cannot play Conquest to save my life. I would consider getting one, I just need to know how, because 250 ranks seems nearly impossible to me, might even be 300+ at this point for all I know. If I don't choose to get a deflector, I'd use Void executioner chest + Unholy book. Another thing I need to keep in mind, I'd only have +5 prayer bonus with your suggested void setup, whereas I'd have +13 with mine. But the trade-off would be 48 -> 73 range bonus. I would use 14 prayer pots per hour with my setup, and 17 with your setup. That's not a huge difference, at all, and I'm fine with it. But still, it's too much work to get the deflector if you ask me. =/
Shangdi
Usually you can find nubs who will let you win in exchange for ~25-30k. sumondskull6
Another question: What's the highest dps range weapon for low defense monsters? Iron knifes are amazing, obviously. But would broads actually be higher dps, what about dragon darts? Bolt racks? Hand cannon?

How do I know that they will actually let me win? Learn to play, and you'll win them anyways. How to know - well, you can't. Even though they just run off with your 30k, it's only 30k. After that, you know you won't be letting them to get any more gp. 30k is so small money you shouldn't worry much about it. 99+ all 23rd March 2012 - 2496 total 13th June 2012.9000+ dragon drops! Quyneax
I think the highest dps would be rune knives, but I'm not sure how dragon darts compare. Either way those are rather expensive to use. Rune darts might be more affordable and still good. (1000th post :^_^:) I feel special starting a topic that got you 1k ;D To the other two, 30k isn't much, but it's not 30k, it's 90k. I will have payed 30k to loose rank, 30k to get it back to what it was, and another 30k to get the payed for rank. Also, time is money, and it takes a while to pay up to 1250. I'm at like 1100 or so atm. Back to what Quyneax was saying, rune darts look good when they're stable, which seems to be at like 200-300gp each, but there 375 a pop atm, and rising very very fast. The only way I'd use them is if the onyx bolt tips, gem's, and obsidian drops would pay for the darts, pots, and scrolls. I keep hearing hand cannon has very high dps, too? I know broads do, as-well, but I do believe that even Iron knifes beat them on low def monsters. I'm looking at dragon darts at the moment, 633 a pop, stable, but once again, will the drops pay for the pots/darts/scrolls? Addy darts are 107 each, stable, same rules apply. Hand cannon shots are less than 200 each, also.
sumondskull6
Got my deflector, lol, so I guess I just added 25 more range accuracy to my setup.
Sinkhan
Addy darts are probably the way to go for a good balance of speed and price. They've got more than twice the stats and less than double the price. I bought 30k of them when they were around 102gp and plan to go to work in kuradel's dungeon when I get 75 slay and a fero ring :D Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
