bedman
According to Grimy's spreadsheets and Rune Wiki, they are -38 gp/xp, so very expensive. However, when looking at the GE graph of zombie impling jars, they seem to have been this price for over 6 monhts now (give or take 1-2k). Does this mean they haven't been worth it for over 6 months already or am i overlooking something? A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h! Quyneax
You may have overlooked the price of the loot, but I guess they're not really worth it unless you really want that skull. Nifflin
The reason they are so expensive is that they are really fast exp, but then again construction can be as fast as you want, it just depends on how much cash you have to burn. Why are you considering them might I ask? PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. Zaaps1
As said above, you gotta count the fact that you can sell off the loot such as dragon bones and such. Also, people stockpiled them for the double xp weekend since the long bones/curved bones were affected by the bonus. ~It's Super Effective! Also, people stockpiled them for the double xp weekend since the long bones/curved bones were affected by the bonus.Grimys sheets take the loot into account, so it's not that. From the tests that i have done, grimys sheets tend usually to overestimate the cost of this, although it is higher than any other realistic method. When i've tried it(~10k jars) i've got around 25-28 gp per xp, and if you buy the jars cheap, you could get down to 18-22 gp/xp. I think the price at which it becomes worth it is around 11k per jar. Edit: I think grimy has the wrong numbers for xp per bone. The chance of getting either bone from a jar is more or less exactly 1/30, so 1/15 overall, and one bone gives 1875 xp per on average((1500+2250) /2), for an average of 125 xp per jar. Grimy has the number as 106 xp per jar(likely using 1000 and 2250 xp per bone as the values). First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.First to 3766 Port Score on 20. Wyvern bones were in high demand (herblore bonus XP) and really helped offset the cost. I probably wouldn't try to go to 99 with this method, but I'd probably do it until 93, bonus XP or not. Once you get to 93, you can start getting free XP from assisting effigies.
