Peronix
I've mostly blown of this skill for the most part because of the fact that soloing is extremely slow experience, which... angers me. So my DG level isn't that high. So what's the fastest exp I can get at the moment? What two binds should I have, and how should I go about getting them (no air rune trick anymore, FML...). I see a lot of people with chaotic weapons, and I want in on that, but I don't see any reasonable way of doing that without some help. But from what I've seen, most of the good DGers are kind of... efficiency nazis who won't take anyone lower than a certain DG level or whatever. So should I just stick to soloing until 80ish or are there actually people out there who 1) don't suck and 2) are willing to take on new people. Trust me I'm not the kind of person who won't listen to instructions, but I totally get that there are a lot of people who are like that. So... just general advice would be helpful. This dungeoneering thing is a bit more overwhelming than basically any other skill. By the way, my two binds are currently a prom spear and plate. I'm trying to get a 2h, no luck so far. <_<
Gandalf14141
Well I know if you go to the "dungsmithing" cc they can help you get a 2H.Other than that I don't know, sorry. Finally on here to update that I have officially quit! Sinkhan
My dg isn't as high as yours, but from what I can gather from most other threads/people's advice: 1. Rushing 1-29. Meds for your last few dungeons. Try to at least duo for those last dungeons. 2. Binds should probably be prom 2h + shadow silk hood, but your spear + plate is still pretty good. There are theories on how to get the SSH the quickest, but I think doing floors 23-30ish over and over again is what I've heard the most. As for the prom 2h, dungsmith cc as already mentioned is good. If you had a friend with at least 90 mining to go dging with you, that would also help spawn some prommy rocks. 3. I think the only real way to get there without a clan is to just get a bunch of friends to go with you. You could also try 117 for a little while and try random dgs and friending people you have good experiences with and once you feel you have a good friendbase, dg exclusively with them. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
Quyneax
Friends > w117. If you don't have friends, solo until 80 then do w148 (which is not the best by far but still MUCH better than w117). Obtaurian
Friends > w117. If you don't have friends, solo until 80 then do w148 (which is not the best by far but still MUCH better than w117). Yeah, I agree with this. Try to get a perm team going with your friends, even if it's not five people. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
BloodAngel
As has been mentioned, friends are the best people to DG with if you're not an 'efficiency nazi' as it can be quite fun and there's less of a backlash if you make a silly mistake :P As for binds, you should try and get a Shadow Silk Hood bound because the advantages of it far out-weigh the negatives, especially where Guardian Doors are concerned or else in a team you're likely just to become a human punch bag and you and your team mates will waste food killing humanoids. For your other bind, it's a toss up between a Prom Spear or Prom 2H, up to you really. "Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale." Peronix
Thanks for all the advice guys. Well, I guess I'll just solo to 80 and try W148. I haven't really attempted to make any friends on this game and none of my friends IRL play this game. That dung smithing thing sounds like it could be useful. What exactly is the name of the CC? Tried "dungsmithing" and it didn't exist, and "dungsmith" existed but it was some random player's CC with no one in it.
Georgelemmons
Dung Smith is the exact name. I know everyone bashes w117, but.. it can be more fun than soloing the entire way. Usually it's easiest to make your own teams by spamming the floor and size, and it's usually good to keep it 4:5 to allow for kicks (there are a lot of idiots). If you're fine with soloing, it's probably a bit more efficient. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <
Sinkhan
I think it used to be dungsmith, but they moved it to "dung smith" ?150,151,948,60917476"]RSOF Thread Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
halo475
Add me and if your in luck we can do dungeons together, i have never had the time because my real life commitments are variable in time and always take priority over runescape (got most of my levels as a kid when i had spare time) to make a perm team and always been behind the eightball in terms of keeping up with the levels required for good clans. So yeah if your in luck i will be happy to casually do some duo's with you.
