I can't check atm but I'm 99% sure a "chefs delight" or something similar gives a +5 boost at those kinds of levels.

give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever

I think it does, and you can always stew of course.

At about 5 levels before you burn like, 2% of fish. Basically if you don't care about a little loss, start doing Shark at lvl 90. You won't burn that many with gauntlets. (You'd have to burn over 40% for it to be slower xp than swords/monks).

However once you get to 90 or 91, you can use a chef's delight to boost the rest of the way, which costs like 5k gp.

Well, if it makes any difference, I did lobster until 92 Cooking, then Monkfish to 94 (with gauntlets), then just did Sharks all the way to 99. (Should help you if you ever plan on getting 99.)

I'm not really sure about chef's delight, but if it's boostable then you should be certainly able to use a stat booster for it.
