DarkerFalz
[hide]...however, I don't have the skills needed to do it :( 1) What should I burn for 70-71 firemaking? I can burn both shades and vyrewatches, would burning them be a good idea?2) What should I craft for 67-70 crafting? I have level 2 Varrock armour at the moment, if that means anything.3) What should I make for 67-70 smithing? I have a budget of ~4m at the moment, but I can make more (somehow). EDIT: I have 80 herblore at the moment.Would it be wise to try and boost (yay stews!) to 84 and make a few spec restore pots for use in the battle vs the Void Queen?[/hide] I can't kill the pest queen! I'm using a full tort and an inv of rocktails, and I ran out of food fast.Inv: super att/def/str, chipped house tab, 2 p pots, and the rest rocktails.Gear: Korasi's sword, rune def, nezzy helm, warrior's ring, barrows gloves, dragon boots, soulwars cape, glory, fighter torso, and black d'hide legs. Any suggestions?I decided to not use spec restore pots, as it's really hard to get the boost.
Dreezer
crafting and smithing: gold and silver (tiaras) shouldn't take long...firemaking: maple logs would be cheapest and fastest Sacrificing efficiency for fun since 1991
Legionwizard
With the low price of gold ore, just use gauntlets to 70 smithing. As for the recovery specs, I never needed any, but with stew it might be worthwhile to take 2-3 just to not prolong the fight due to a missed spec. Achieved quest (07/08/2009), woodcutting (28/06/2010), attack (21/07/2010), strength + constitution (07/08/2010), defence (26/09/2010), summoning (13/01/2011), herblore (03/03/2011), cook (31/08/2012), firemaking (01/09/2012), magic (08/09/2012), prayer (16/09/2012) and ranged (29/10/2012) capes. sohkmj1
Firemaking - Maple logs would be cost-efficient, use magics or yews if you want it fast and expensive (which I don't think is useful)Crafting - I actually had to get my crafting up for the quest, and I did Green d'hide bodies for 67-70. I can't remember how much it cost.Smithing - Do gold bars with goldsmithing gauntlets. It's not the best exp, but it's quite cheap. Use Varrock armour too. aspeeder
If you buy battlestaffs and air orbs while you train fm and smith you might get enough by the time you're finished to get you to 70, and if not just finish off with green d'hide bodies. As for spec rests idk if this is true for anyone else but the specs during the fight only took like 10-20% of my spec bar so I never needed any. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots
Quyneax
If your flail isn't maxed yet, you might as well burn vyrewatch, in my opinion. Only if you want it to be maxed, though. It might come in useful for a Myreque quest later on but it might very well not. Either way it'll make money. Air battlestaves are good crafting xp, You can buy 100 per 4 hours, and 32 per day from Naff with Varrock armour 2 (I think). Naff's staves are cheap, so you won't notice that you're paying for crafting xp (it'll seem like profit). Smithing: smelting + superheating gold with Varrock armour and goldsmithing gauntlets is fast and easy. Special recovers are not neccesary but if you have a bunch you can just spec a ton and it'll speed the fight up a little. The special during the fight takes only 15% energy. Quyneax
I see. Wear melee gear and pray mage. Don't bother attacking the queen unless the defilers are dead or you are tanking them. Your offence is fairly unimportant, I'd say you can use a shield if you get hit too much. E.g. replace your torso + black hide with v skirt guth plate, perhaps an obsidian shield for ranged defence for the defilers.
