King Kong

Don't know why people say it's too long. Realy, if you can't sit through some character devlopment...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

anyways, I loved it. The begining kept me very entertained as well. Sure, I was waiting for kong to show, but I loved the 1930's new york and everything that was going on.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, Jack Black did an amazing job for his roll. At first I thought that he couldn't do such a person, but wow, he realy was amazing. He went through so many stages.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kong was great as well. For a CG'ed primate, kong was one of the best devloped characters i've seen in a while. I loved it when the girl was playing with him, and he would laugh realy hard.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And of course, the action... it was action. It had what I liked in an action movie for those scenes. It didn't try and make it "over-dramatic", it was just pure action, and a lot of the times I did laugh. (movie had some preaty funny parts, I loved the guy trying to climb away from the bugs and he gets snatched away. Or the old guy flying off the cliff LOL)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deffinitly a 10/10 for me. I rarly watch movies or TV, usualy it doesn't interest me much. But this was a great movie.

Overall an excellent movie. I loved almost everything about it except 2 things distracted me from enjoying it completely:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Jack Black: okay, don't get me wrong, Jack Black is an excellent entertainer but seriously the entire movie I couldn't help but laugh at everything he said. The friend I went with told me to pretend everything Jack Black said was separate lines for a soundboard and I cracked up everytime Jack Black said something. Other than that I give props to Jack for doing an excellent job.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. The Tribes People: Usually when I go to a scary movie of some sort I usually get kicks as to how predictable everything is. But seriously I was honestly, and truely frightened by the Tribes People, even when they weren't hissing or cursing the crew. (And for any smart bum who wants to call me racist, grow up).
