JacTise69 Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 How viable is a setup of all brews/summoning pots (to restore the spec points) and just using a kyatt/scrolls to do all the work. Seems a lot less intensive then the other methods I've seen and I'm looking to finish this quest with the least amount of effort. Trolling by giving good advice since April 2011. Watch the videos, learn the attacks and kill him... You can't really do this battle with no effort... Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig! Dude12150 Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 To be honest, the beginning part where he mages you isn't all that difficult. Just range him and use the pillar to heal. During his zerker stage, I just tanked him in d'hide with diamond (e). I was spamming brews, restores, and kyatt scrolls. Wasn't too hard. Quyneax Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 It could work. Then again, you are 88 ranged. You can hit 400s with rune/diamond bolts and void. Ruby bolts hit 750 until Nomad is near dead (dragon bolts don't work). So I highly recommend bringing at least a few shots. I'm not sure if you can attack Nomad with a kyatt after the clones, if you can't, he'll shout 'face me' and may heal if you fail to attack him.
