I had him as a boss yesterday and all four of my teammates d/c'd, but my comp had no lag whatsoever. When they got back, they waited in the start room (or anywhere the boss room wasn't on the screen) and said they had no lag. You could try that, that is, if you're willing to not fight him and wait it out.
Except he listed slayer under what he tried and and didn't like. Except he listed slayer as fun, although he thought he couldn't train strength with it, which isn't true. Slayer is the best choice.
Save blues till 89 for Geysers. If you're willing to gut out the greens and golds then I would use them first and try to make it to the next Crimson familiar, although it may not even get you there.
I say TD's, as the options you presented appear to not suit your needs at all. You'll get better at switching with practice, and thats the only wawy you'll get better at switching. Just use welfare gear until you're comfortable. Even with expensive gear, its not like it's hard to get back if you die, especially with the new gravestones.
Is there a reason you don't want to raise your combat level besides PvP? Because Summoning isn't a factor in PvP worlds unless you have a familiar in your inventory or you have one summoned. Summoning is insanely useful, so Rock Lobsters are amazing.
So I'm planning on Bursting Rock Lobsters for some much needed Magic and Summoning XP. Here's my gear: Battle Robe Hood Battle Robe Top Battle Robe Bot Horror From Deep Book Inf Boots "Barrows" RFD gloves Fury SW Cape RoL SoL My questions are: 1. Should I bother with a different shield? 2. Is Arcane Stream worth it when I'm saving tokens for a Rapier when I hit 80? 3. SW cape vs Mage Arena cape? (93 Mage bonus vs 103 mage bonus). Also, if I bring mage arena cape should I bring SW cape for lures?
To be honest, the beginning part where he mages you isn't all that difficult. Just range him and use the pillar to heal. During his zerker stage, I just tanked him in d'hide with diamond (e). I was spamming brews, restores, and kyatt scrolls. Wasn't too hard.
I'd really reccomend you train Slayer with Range. It's about the same speed as those Fire Giants you've been training on, even faster with a FSH, and you should profit. Good Luck!
