Abe
Hi, well i've been thinking about buying one, but the only real use i can think of using it in is Pyramid Plunder... Tokens are not really an issue (i have plenty and enjoy dg'ing). But I was wondering if there are any other situations in which the totem would be useful? Thanks in advance :) (840th To 99 Farm. la la la
Jungle clean-up, pp, and treasure trails is about it. Maybe going through lletya - I'm not sure if it works there.
Hedgehog
It helps at cave crawlers, clues, BA, Zamorak GWD, and PP, as you said. It's also worth noting that it can be brought on entrana, which may help with abyss crafting laws.
ghjkl
Any combat situtation a defender is better. I cant think of a skill situation where it would be useful except pp
Grimy_Bunyip
For kril, since the antipoison totem could save you several inventory slots. for cannoning cave crawlers for effigies, you should wear full melee void for better kill rates.you might consider an antipoison totem. As you'll be at 10LP the entire time and 1 poison hit will kill you. Sir_Squab
Cannoning those cave crawlers sounds worth it o_o It'd be semi-useful at ape atoll when killing gorillas with prayer. Don't need to worry about the damn spiders. Although, someone who can get enough tokens for an antipoison totem and justify spending it ON the antipoison totem because they have tokens to spare, shouldn't be the type of person killing the gorillas on ape atoll >.< Anyways, I'm of the opinion that once your dungeoneering is high enough, you might as well get just about every available reward there is. But that's just me >_> Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.[spoiler=The rest of my sig. Zaaps1
It's kinda useful in Barbarian Assault so the healers can't poison you. This way, if you stay by the horn of glory, you are invincible. Good for lower levels who need to run in, do their role, and get out, I guess. But with a good team, you'll never need it, or never would be in close enough danger to necessitate the use. ~It's Super Effective! Healers going for ranks would get slightly fewer points/round. But if the other option is losing the round, I'm sure the healer wouldn't mind. Plus, if you can ensure the healer is going for xp potential, or just doesn't mind getting 1-2 points or whatever fewer points per round, then it's still an ok use. ~It's Super Effective! pulli23
When I go BA with friends I actually never wield armour the first 6 rounds - overhealing is way to easy as it is.. And the healer earns the most points every wave! Zaaps1
Killing snakes on mos le harmless, can make up to 600 k per hour last time I checked... But if you have the tokens to buy the totem, you should honestly have nearly every chaotic (except maybe CLS and staff), arcane stream, rigour, augury, etc. And at that point, you could do so much better than 600k per hour by using Frost Dragons. ~It's Super Effective!
