Bank Org.

Featured Replies

My bank is a complete mess.

I threw out most of my quest items, and my bank is still full.

I need tips on bank organization, stuff like tabs and what items not to keep.

This is what I do tab wise:

Misc junk tab

Armor

Runes, teleports, and Mage supplies

Weapons (ranged and melée)

Currency, food, summoning supplies, and summing pouches

Potions, herbs, seeds, farming supplies

Tools (spades, lanterns, chisels, and others)

Quest items

I don't have any items I don't use for skilling.

What I have:

Ores, bars, cut gems, chisel, some molds

Normal seeds, Habitat seeds, normal herbs, habitat herbs, all pots

Runes, tiaras/amulets, staves.

Logs, adze, tinderbox, traps.

Slayer equipment and money, slayer drops.

Prioritize, what are the things you need, look at how long it will take to reobtain things, and use the POH store options to keep things like pets, costumes and other random stuff from clogging your bank.

PM me in game anytime

It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet.

That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.

It just depends what you use it for. My bank is almost full but I have a lot of placeholders and a few costumes I use often for TET. It goes:

First tab, random bits like coins and recently used items

Runes, RC gear, Mage gear

Melee weapons, armour and random weapons

Food, fishing gear, Hunter stuff

Summoning & Construction Supplies

Ores, gems, crafting & Mining supplies

Logs, WC gear, arrows & range stuff

Random tab for... random clothes or quest items

Herblore & farming

I'll revise my bank and post a pic here later, for you guys to give me more accurate tips.

If you give me your username and password, I can arrange it for you if you'd like.

I'm F2P but I'm sure I can manage to turn it into something like this:

Jk.

Though I would suggest organizing by the aforementioned; skills tab, combat tab, clothes tab, etc. Getting placeholders would also be useful.

I don't own any costumes, and I only have one skill cape that I keep, so that's not the problem.

Ores, bars, cut gems, chisel, some molds

Why? Do you use all the ores you have? You should have one thing you make for smithing exp at the most- sell everything else. Same deal with crafting- you do NOT need a pile of gems and moulds.

Normal seeds, Habitat seeds, normal herbs, habitat herbs, all pots

Sell all the seeds you don't plant regularly. You should have at the maximum one thing for each type of patch (allotment, herb, trollheim herb, tree, fruit tree, bush). Habitat you're stuck with except drop the blossom seeds, because you can buy those cheap from the guy. Normal herbs, again, you should have supplies for one type of potion you make for herblore exp- sell the rest. Only keep potions you regularly use, and try to condense them all to only 3 or 4 dose.

Runes, tiaras/amulets, staves.

Only keep runes and tiaras you use. You can probably ditch body and soul runes at the very least. Think about it. Same deal with amulets- if you don't need it for teleports or combat, it's gone. Staves you can condense to air and two combo staves (mix and match lava, mud, steam). You might not even need that.

Logs, adze, tinderbox, traps.

One kind of logs, and ditch any traps you don't use regularly.

Slayer equipment and money, slayer drops.

dump slayer drops on the GE regularly so they don't pile up.

Visit the wise old man in Draynor - he clears out items you don't need.

Dragon drops: 82 (2 claws)

Dagannoth kings drops: 73

Barrows item count: 51

GWD drops: 54 (5 hilts: 1x bandos, 3x saradomin, 1x zamorak)

Whips: 4

Sigils: 1x spectral (FFA), 1x arcane (FFA)

When I started playing again, I just sold every single tradable item on the GE. After that, I bought supplies when I needed them, using placeholders and organizing the things when I put them in. Now, I'm lvl 125, 2005 total, and a QP cape, and only use about 250 bank spaces, having everything I need.
