hey, im just wondering what the approximite/avg money/hour soloing rex with slayer dart would be(no yak, just tortoise). because i got dags slay task and my friend got like 5 zerkers in 5 hours yesterday, and now today he hasnt gotten any on 5 trips. so im wondering if its a good money method

dont worry about me getting crashed, ive already been a bunch of times, no one crashes

DK's are really good and fun money makers. Problem is, without 96 Summoning or Fremmy Boots (4) you really don't make as mcuh profit and you find yourself having to depend on large drops to cover your supply cost. DK's are like any other NPC with a special drop (abyssal demons, dark beasts, etc.) One day you get 2 whips in a task, then you find yourself goign 10 tasks without a whip.

 

And as for the crashing.... DK's are a lot less populated than it was a year ago. I've been DK's about 16 or 17 times this month and only found a crasher once.

Just on this subject - If I Hybrid Prime & Supreme - could my friend just mage rex & we both be eligible for each others loot with lootshare on. He basically has crap stats and since free trade isn't in yet - if I can carry him at bosses to hopefully get him some loot would be nice.

 

Just wondered if there limits to the lootshare system, or ways around it to fully carry people.

If he is visible on your minimap, he will get drops.

That would be way annoying. There's no good way for a mage to go and pick up supreme drops without drawing the attention of prime. He'd be better off just getting his rex drops and you getting your prime drops.

It's around 1.5m p/h without a yak. With slayer dart however you will get crashed. Upgrade to claws w/ charge or fire surge.

Aeil's right, the range of telegrab isn't big enough for that. You'd still run out into the middle of the room.

If OP kills supreme and agros prime, his friend can run up from the other side, telegrab, and be back on his spot. Hell, even if he can't avoid prime, he can just hit protect magic while he telegrabs and then go back to his spot.

Still doesn't solve the problem that he's out of ls range on supreme and prime if he moves enough...

Just wondered - Since I want to carry him to some loot somehow. Obviously hasn't done enough quests for TD's (Although could he potentially stand there and do nothing while I killed them and still receive loot, (for future use)).

 

Can't think of any other worthwhile bosses where he could potentially sort of just be there, and be eligible for loot. Since his highest money making methods are probably around 500k atm. (only been playing 1 week)

True, I am beaten. (He won't be out of range of prime, most of the time, but he will be out of supreme's)

Ive had a buy offer in for pie dishes for 1 week, only up to ~200.

Couple notes...the range of LS in the DKs lair is almost the full area, I've been 5 spaces from the ladder...with rex on the farthest opposite side...and have seen the drop. The range is longer than your minimap.

 

As for a mage and hybrid lsing drops...it's EXTREMELY easy to get prime and supreme off the mager, once the guy maging runs back to his spot...supreme and prime will instantly go back on the hybrid after just one attack. The mage just needs to pray accordingly when he loots.

 

When I solo maged rex a while back, I averaged 1.5m an hour, just like the OP, no yak. Sometimes I used dart when I was feeling cheap, usually used claws of guthix.
