I'm fairly new to Tip.It, came here from Sal's, so I do have somewhat of a background in foruming and Graphics. I enjoy making signatures, I use GIMP, and have created a few of my own signature styles that people seem to happy with.

There are a few things that I require when you request in my shop; that you use my order form, that all images are transparencies, and if I don't like your image, I'm not required to make your signature.

Did you ever use PDN? I swear I've seen that second tag on those forums before. Anyway good luck with your shop, it's about time we had fresh talent to the Gallery :thumbup:

I honestly don't even know what PDN is, and I made that signature about 5 days ago. and why would the "Scanlines" and "Abstract" choices make you cry?

Also, What I mean by Transparency Orientation, placing the image on the left, right, middle, mid-left, or mid-right.

 

And for all future posters; my signatures come generically in 400x140 (WxH), so if there's any other size you want, specify.

:/ Aight then, I was thinking orientation on the right hand side, maybe tilted 45 degrees counter clockwise...I'll have to go hunt down a rendered version of my reference. Pretty sure I have one somewhere...I'll get back to you

Alright, well I'll et to it tomoorow, I've got a ton of homework, and I need to prepare for my play tomorrow. I'll try and get it done tonight if I find that I have some time, but there aren't any guarantees.

 

And don't worry about the quality of the render, I'll just blur the edges and throw in some glow effects.

Because you're the artist, you control the style, and it changes from tag to tag. The abstract isn't so much a problem, but the scan lines look bad on everything.

 

Meh, I've run into problems with that before, some people won't say that they want an abstract feeling, but then claim that they did when the signature is finished, so therefore, I've put the choice of having the abstract background into the Order Form. And The scanlines were meant for Underbanners, which I no longer, and will never again make. I'll edit that out.

There is plenty of chance. OP, google how to resize without losing quality.

Unfortunately, the site that allows my sig to cycle upon refresh still has the old limit of 40,960 >.>

P.S. For somereason, Tiny Pic gave the picture a white background, I personally made it into a transperency, so if you have Photoshop, you can just magic wand the background and delete. It's easy.

I've had trouble uploading JPEGS and maintaining transparency, to be honest. It's probably due to the format being incompatible with transparency. Saving as a PNG-24 seemed to fix the problem.
