Obtaurian
My preferred solution would be to not let your opponent get close enough to combo you with the spec. Hybrid with magic. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
sharksman3
Korasi is just a stupid ass weapon period. It's what no honour players use now. Just wait till Jagex releases the secret weapon that deals 600 damage per second doesn't get absorbed by soak and ignores prayer with armour and specs 1400's so that even torva won't do [cabbage].[bleep] Korasi. Bridding fails nowadays due to this [cabbage] weapon. And im not joining the crowd due to it's a cheating weapon and when you cheat in a game (like with any game) the fun gets taken out. IMO just tag the kid at edge if he pulls it out. AKA-Get him outside on the side of a door, barrage run back in bank quickly barrage back and run back in -Repeat till he crys like a [bleep]. If you do it right it'll be extremely hard to get frozen. When he redbars pull out your dds of doom. It's not "cheating"While I agree jagex messed up with it's design when they released it...it's here now, and there's nothing you can do about it.You either join them, and use it yourself, keep getting killed by it and complain, or learn to look for the signs of a Korasi prod, and prepare accordingly. (Guessing, might be wrong) You can't give to much advice, check out a pvp world sometime and look at the lvl 107s with welfare busting out 40 kos on lvl 126s with 100mill gear. Well, I haven't seen something THAT extreme, yet. But from my experiences, it's easier to get KOs with the Ksword than any other weapon. That's including claws, ags, cmaul, rapier, and all those commonly used. The 100% accuracy reallys gives it an overwhelming edge over all the other weapons. Just today, I KO'd someone with my maul with what the maul was intended to do, that being hit high and hard and accurate. I hit probably about 6 or 7 400+ in a row, and it felt really good. Compared to Korasi though, this is like childs play, that weapon just combos like no other, able to dish out constant 300s at whip speed, and if you fall below 250 lp, you can count yourself dead unless you sharkbrew, or tele. Some ways to nerf it perhaps? 100% spec bar? Lowered accuracy? If Jagex can nerf a MSB special, why can't they nerf this?

Why not Korasi, it's way more deadly than whips old spec. Dazzuh
It also looks ridiculous. Currently not active on RuneScape.
All_Is_Great
Had a nice rune targ fight... So it's going on... several closes calls. And out of nowhere, i get specced a 559. Sigh, I don't like that weapon >.<
i_trollz_u
Even though it's mage based i think it has something to do with str/att level, or maybe even total CB. I never see it hit above 350 when facing anybody lower than 100 CB.
SirIzenhime
The only factor that effects what you hit with the spec is your strength level. The swords always hits between 50%-150% of your normal max hit with the sword. If you can hit 300 with the sword, the spec will hit a number between 150-450.Protecting from magic will lower the ammount of damage you take from the spec. Crossed_Body
Counter with vengeance. If you let somebody drop you to 400 hp in PvP, you're asking for death, either by korasis, or by dragon claws or some other combo weapon.
All_Is_Great
I guess it could work, but the timing will be off most of the time. And a lot of Ksword users don't spec until they get rid of your vengeance with a weak hit.
Quyneax
If people use ks as their primary weapon, you could pray mage during the fight. If they use it as a spec weapon I guess you need to click too fast and then it's powerful, but how powerful is a good maul > gmaul combo in comparison? All_Is_Great
Haven't actually tried gmaul yet, been thinking about it. I've been using dds to get rid of veng, and occasionally gmace. Might buy a couple mauls for targ fights. Also, the whole praying mage thing just gets messy. They'll start praying melee, and it's like not fighting basically
Quyneax
Ah but you don't want to fight them do you? I mention it because I hear that people refuse to fight you if you pray, which sounds ideal :). All_Is_Great
Just saw a guy bridding in welfare vs a guy risking full dharoks. Guess what, he ko'd dharoks with a Ksword spec! It was like 490! <_< Oh well I did the Void Knights stories, and now have to sword. Might use it lol.
