Ulysses
Hi everyone, I got enough money for either turmoil or extreme potions (to 92). Which one should i get first? I have 83 herblore and 92 prayer at the moment. Stats could be seen in signature. Also, based on my stats, is it worth spending some time on dungeoneering for a rapier for slayer? Or would whip work? Many thanks in advance. 'Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.' T.S. Eliot
Vex
Turmoil & Greenman's ale (m) to make super-antifires. Seeing as you are already 69 DG, I'd recommend you do it. However a Whip for most tasks & Zspear on metals isn't a bad option, especially with turmoil. The reason I say you get turmoil first if you ahve the funds. Is: 1) You are already 92 so there isn't a great deal to go. 2) Since you can boost and make Super-Antifires now, these will have the most significant impact on slayer for you, as you can use a Zspear on Metals, significantly speeding them up. 3) You can boost either by using a stew or Greenman's ale (m) (+2) to make some extremes, using the logout trick to constantly refresh your boost. You will probably only use Extreme Attack and Strength for Slayer. So at 86/87 You can comfortably stew for this. http://www.[Caution! Ulysses
If i sell my fury, berserker ring and archer ring, i can buy 88 herb on top of turmoil. Should I? 'Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.' T.S. Eliot
Vex
Yes as an extreme potion will have a greater impact on your stats & kill speed (along with tumoil) than a Fury amulet & berserker ring do. (Especially berserker, since if you slay, 50% of the time you'll be in Kura's dungeon using a ferocious ring) However I am unsure if Furies are hard to buy, I know they were once when I got my Turmoil, but would need a 2nd opinion on this. http://www.[Caution! manitstinks
Fury and the two rings can easily be subbed. You shouldn't even rebuy the two rings.

Ulysses
think i'll go with turmoil first. I've been looking at the max hit calculator, specifically at prayer/curses option - initial and final boost of turmoil... so does it mean turmoil cannot be flashed like piety during standard slayer tasks? Quyneax
Yes it can, however the boost you get depends on your opponent. E.g. on LRC it's something like 31-33-15 iirc, whereas on waterfiends it's 15-23-31 (% atk-str-def). So the inital boost is the minimum of 15-23-15, whereas the final boost is the max of 31-33-31 or so.
