Bows
As with everyone else, I'll be trying my hand at staking when it comes back in February. I just created two accounts. The names are "Is This Ok" and "Can He Stake" Question one: Which name is better? Question two: What stats, and character type works best for low level staking? I've never done this before so guidance is needed. Thanks! ~Bows EDIT: It's worth noting that I will be staking in F2P until I am comfortable with my skills. Riemis
I made an account with these stats: I still need to get full rune+chain on that account tho. Also, if my opponents search me up in the highscores they'll see I'm only ranked in fist of guthix rating, which I obviously can't get with 40 def at combat lvl 35  Edit: also, I prefer "Is This Ok" Edit2: I'll probably get him 45 def since I have the tokens to recharge a rune berserker and gauntlet, and probably 30 magic and ranged just for the hp levels. noble_aloof
Low level f2p I think defense still rules. i have a 60 str, 10 defense, 40 atk/range account in f2p and I remember almost always getting owned by rangers and high defense accounts. Remember if movement is on range can get a hit or two before your opponent can run up to you. p2p is going to be too insane to make a prediction. Obviously low level ancients will still dominate, but so will high attack accounts that use claws and godswords. for higher levels i think that 70-40-70 verac accounts will still be decent. Bows
That's why I've heard, that High defense and attack is good, while having a moderate strength level. I'm sure i figure it out through trial and error though.
sharksman3
For staking a evened out account is best, example, 70-70-70, anyways for higher levels it is,didn't do to much pure staking back in old days. Anyways for your name i would say make it something confusing like ililililililil or soemthing, it'll make it harder for the person to highscore you and know your exact stats. Could get you some easy cash. holiday
Don't choose a name like "can he stake" then people will know that your account was probably made for staking
All_Is_Great
You could also make a second account with "1s this ok" or "ls this ok", and train their stats to make them average/ below average, this might make some people look up the wrong person and underestimate you. But make sure those two accounts are roughly the same combat level.

muggiwhplar
Your stats matter very little when it comes to staking :wall: Everybody will look you up in the high scores before fighting you, and they'll only accept if they're confident they can clean you, so it's your job to figure out ways around that. Staking is more about knowing how to play the rules to your favor and maybe knowing how to mage in the obstacle room if you ever find yourself in that situation.
