Rsdude099
I have 25m, looking to buy dragon claws. I understand they are going down atm according to the GE graph, but is it worth the money? Would like to hear some opinions, i've heard it is worth it and I've heard it isn't. Pretty much done with rs now
Sir_Squab
Most people I see here say claws are an epic spec weapon that is totally worth it once you can use it with extremes and turmoil. And possible overloads. Personally, I don't like claws much. I've owned them, but I can't say I've ever really used them for much; TD drop a few times that I've never kept for 24 hours. Quyneax
If you can get them fairly cheap - say at min - and sell them later with a little profit, there's no harm buying them of course (in fact at that point it becomes flipping). You can also borrow a pair from a friend and see how much you like them. foursideking
I don't really like dragon claws either. For a 2h weopen, it is outclassed by godswords, and possibly the zammy spear in versatility. If you did buy'm, then you'd be paying 25m for the spec alone, which doesn't seem worth it seeing as you could pay 18 and get a bgs AND a zammy spear.... Quyneax
Lol... outclassed by godswords? Claws beat godswords any day of the week. Both are special weapons, and claws have the better spec. foursideking
Godswords have the higher power, therefore making them better? Even without spec, godswords are still too versatile....ever see someone kill a waterfiend with claws?
Georgelemmons
Ever see any good player who knows what he's doing slay with a godsword? Even on waterfiends it's far inferior. Claws win out in almost any situation for specs. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <
Quyneax
George is right. If I see someone killing anything with a godsword I know they are not there to get fast kills, at all. Godswords have one use and it's medium-team corping (bgs only). Th e Doctor
Godswords have the higher power, therefore making them better? Even without spec, godswords are still too versatile....ever see someone kill a waterfiend with claws? No, because anyone worth their salt is using a Chaotic Maul/Saradomin Sword/Zammy spear for Wfs slaying. The only spec worth looking at there from the godswords is sara and even that is out classed/unneeded if you have a bunyip or an eee (or heck even an ee). As far as spec weapons go even a korasi's sword beats out a Godsword. Edit Just saw someone killing a waterfiend with claws and facepalmed irl... HexiledRazz
I don't really like dragon claws either. For a 2h weopen, it is outclassed by godswords, and possibly the zammy spear in versatility. You've been giving really bad advice in H&A over the last few days :| Just about everything outclasses godswords. They were never useful for DPS. Only for spec. And now most of their specials are outclassed by new things. Only real use for one is the BGS's def reducing special at corp. Anyway, I'm gonna get on topic: It really depends on what you do the most. I bought claws a while ago, and figured out that i couldn't go without them when i sold them for Turmoil. Then i bought them back when i finally earned the money. They're pretty much a staple in my armory until something better that is actually affordable comes along. But it really is different for everyone. If you slay, then i would say you should stick to a healing spec weapon. Specifically an EE or EEE. Claws might be worth it when you have soulsplit and are on a fero task. But other then that, the extra DPS doesn't justify the money spent that could go to better uses. But, for certain boss hunting or PvP, that's where they really shine. Other then that, i would say do what Quyneax said and borrow a pair off a friend to see exactly how much you like them.
