I'm just curious to know if anybody can help me with what is the fastest fishing exp ingame?

I'm only 86 atm so that's rocktails out for the timebeing..

But what exp can you get from cavefish, monks, shilo, sharks etc per hour?

I'm pretty sure there was a saying related to r/s fishing....went something like 'monks to 90, and you're nearing the end, rocktails are now your new best friend'?...pretty sure that's how it went....lol

Barbarian fishing, shilo village fishing, and rasolo fishing (probably spelled his name wrong) are the fastest options. Instead of dropping the fish you can low alch them and it won't interrupt fishing the same way superheating at LRC doesn't interrupt mining. It's minor mage exp if you want it and it less clicky than dropping.

Trolling by giving good advice since April 2011.

You spelled it right I think?

Anyway, fly fishing is the fastest xp, and the barbarian variety of fly fishing even more so, plus that it gives valuable agility experience. Monkfish are very very slow (about 1/2 of the xp).

You can do rocktails with admiral pies (bring a yak to carry). Isn't too bad, and it's really afkable. Should be 40k per hour tops at your lvl.

hes only 88 summoning.

Barbarian fishing is the fasetest fishing xp. Monkfish are half decent xp rate and you still make some money. Cavefish and Rocktails are reallly afkable.

Fly Fishing (and Barb. Fly Fishing) are easily your best bets.

Although, I would do rocktails at some point, at least for a little bit. They rake in quite a bit of money and are AFKable in the right spots.

if by quite a bit of money you mean like 200k p/h, then yes.

Fish Flingers hasn't been mentioned yet so I suppose I'll mention it.

Also, I believe cannoning cave crawlers for effigies is faster then Barb if you can open them your self.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

Cannoning crawlers is only 60k/hr at 99 fishing, so no. However assuming you also have agility, runecrafting, woodcutting, firemaking/cooking, herblore/hunter and construction/thieving to max (and levels to open all effigy stages) then yes, crawlers are probably faster.

I was actually referring to across the course to 99, not gp/h. Fishing isn't exactly the first thing to come to mind as high gp/h.
