February 16, 201115 yr I was considering buying a bonecrusher and a split dragontooth necklace once I have the spare tokens. I was wondering if it would be possible to slip on the necklace right before you kill a monster/bury bones to get the prayer restore, while keeping on a better amulet, like a fury, for the actual fighting? Because, if I have to wear the necklace 100% of the time during a slayer task to get the prayer restoration, it would be totally pointless to sacrifice a fury's stats for the free prayer points. February 16, 201115 yr it's useful if your ranging low defense monsters for... champion scrolls or something else like that.since you don't really need range accuracy, and it's not like furies or w/e boost your damage output. but for melee you want a fury and magic you want an arcane stream. So only if you're ranging.

February 16, 201115 yr If you are cannoning + ranging stuff for a long time, and it drops bones (particularly big), it'd be good. You can only carry so many boost potions though, and having a yak + 10 pouches in your inventory is also a bit pointless (+ you need summoning restore). Hellhounds are just a little too slow to do this (I tested). Probably if you were safespot cannon + ranging any sort of leather dragon. Well, forget it then. It's like amulet of ranging all over again, unless I'm missing something.From my nex team's experiences, we get better damage output by flat out ranging nex.so the +1 ranged attack and +2 magic defense is very useful if you're not gonna bother with melee.
