Horcruxes are.. well... pieces of your soul... normally people think that you can only have one horcrux, but you can have as many as you want.. Horcruxes are bad. very bad. in order to make one, you have to kill someone. Apparantly, killing someone, rips your soul and, you can then make a horcrux by separating that piece of soul and putting it somewhere safe. With A Horcrux, you can't die. at all. unless someone comes along and destroys your horcrux. TPUM thinks that this explanation is explanatory enough. With A Horcrux, you can't die. at all. unless someone comes along and destroys your horcrux. Oh yes you cat, but only you human part dies, you still have the horcrux/horcruxes left. Otherwise...
