Wolper vs. Geyser Titan

Featured Replies

So I will have 92 Summoning in a bit, and I was wondering if a Wolpertinger is always/sometimes/never better than a Geyser Titan. Ranged and Magic experience are the same value to me; I'm deciding purely based on damage output/ease of use. Are there certain (slayer) monsters that are better for one than the other?

Wolper is always better.

EDIT: It's also smaller, which is useful.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

I find that wolpertinger is magic based, which i value more than range xp myself. It being magic based also means that it is more accurate.

It being 1 square big makes it "dance" around other monsters less I think.

Thus getting more time to dish out damage than a geyser titan.

Glad to know it's an easy choice. Thanks for the help.

It's an easy choice but really between two poor familiars. Iron titan is already like 3+ times better than wolper, and some lower creatures might be better too(like dagga or nail beast, as they have combat specs).

A dagganoth scroll maxes at 180 damage, below a geyser's and wolper's max hit. A talon beast scroll hits up to 240 (3*80) and is magic based, which may be good, but I still think the wolpertinger is just as good.

Take a spirit dagannoth with scrolls : i'm pretty sure it outdamages Geyser and Wolper on low def monsters, high dunno it's really been a while...

Chance for 3 attacks a turn : scroll + normal + Fero ability and also cheaper than ashes if that matters (which 100k worth of pouches and scrolls i used to do quite a lot of slaying)
