Trying to get a few seeds again cause my farming pots are running really low. Ive just hunted Draconics for 2 hours (well, 4 Arctic Bears) and managed to get a whopping 1 seed. The guy that was hunting with me said he already got 5 or 6 within the hour (unless he was just trolling). If infact he was being truthfull, is there anything i can do to up my seed drop rate? I'm not just recieving few ugune seeds but all seeds over all. Idk if there's like a certain Jad i should be hunting to receive a certain seed or what, so can anyone help?

Draconic and Carrion are the two tht drop only herb seeds.

Last I heard drop rate for seeds was around 1 in 5 (iirc) so just seems like you had a run of bad luck; since draconics ONLY give herb seeds and shuld be giving out around 1 in 5

 

Edit: I got my diseased and carrion muddled; its carrion, not diseased that drop only herb.

Man i must have really horrible luck then. I manage to catch about 200 an hour and i'm feel happy if i walk away with 10 seeds :\

The herblore habitat guide has the approximate droprates for each seed/ how often each jadinko will drop any seed at all. Pretty sure a mix of common/draconic is the best for seeds/hr.

Draconic's are the best for seeds (and exp on the side as well).

 

As for their rate, I'm not completely sure. Sometimes I got 0 in one hour, other times 5 in an hour. All I can say is keep at it.

You've got me second guessing myself. I know that I got other seeds, but they might have been coming from the common jadinkos that I was catching at the same time. I'll have to put this on the list of things that I'm going to check out after the bonus XP weekend is over.

Draconics are definitely only herb seeds, but it's common to get other seeds from commons while you hunt them.

 

And to the OP, draconic is your best option for herb seeds. Sometimes they screw you over- one time I did like two and a half hours looking for samaden and one got one seed- but at least you're getting the best hunter exp in the game while you get screwed :P
