That_Brown_Kid
Hey guys, I am looking to start slaying after spending 160m on prayer. What should my outfit be? I was thinking Full Slayer Helmet- Torso - Barrows legs? (vskirt?) - fury? (or glory) - dbewts- RoW (depending on update) - Ddef - Korasi/whip - Magic cape (untrimmed, but i'll do nomad once I get 66 mining) and barrows gloves equipped as well.. This seems like a simple outfit to me. Skills i'll have 65 herb, so no exts.95 prayer w/ turmoilI have steels blocked on my task list. What slayer master do i see? Duradel? I usually see him. BTW what combat stat should I train? Maybe attack to get it in line with my other two melee stats? or Str to hit higher, therefore increasing xp/h for the other two melee stats. Goldenjkered
Well, seen as you just got 95 prayer you should be wanting to utilise that on every task. Verac's skirt is a good option along with prossy top along with the usual items like barrows gloves, slayer helm etc. Whips: 3 Dragon Boots: 15 My 99's: Attack & Cooking Youtube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Goldenjkered
Utopia
Utilize Turmoil and replace torso with a Proselyte top.
Obtaurian
Use a proselyte top till you get a SW cape, then switch to torso. Torso + SW cape has the same strength bonus but slightly more prayer bonus than proselyte top + fire cape. Also, buy a zerker ring. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off. JPMC Mate
Agreed with Obtaurian. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous. Obtaurian
buy a zerker and wait till i can afford fury? Oh, I thought you had a fury. Yes, buy a berzerker ring before a fury. Glory + zerker ring has more strength and less prayer than fury + warrior ring. It goes without saying that you should get a fury as soon as possible, though. But if you do combat outside of slayer (MHing, namely), consider buying a fury first. EDIT: To answer two of your other questions: 1. Use Duradel until you can use Kuradal. 2. If the best weapon you can use is a whip, train on controlled. With a rapier, I'd say getting your strength higher would be a good idea (I would personally keep all of my melee stats equal, but that's OCD speaking). To put it bluntly, [bleep] off. Quyneax
If you don't have a torso yet, don't bother getting it. It's 2-4 hrs (depending on your BA skill) you'll never get back for a fairly useless item. You'd be better off slaying and buying a bcp when you can through farming herbs. That_Brown_Kid
when exactly do i use the sap/leeches? I'm new to curses ofc; just unlocked yesterday.
Quyneax
You use leech ranged when ranging, leech magic while maging (if your target has magic defence) but otherwise you should always use turmoil. Oh, and a full leech is used by the stunner (corping). JPMC Mate
I would get a god cloak/ardougne cloak 3 until you get a fire cape. What is your prayer bonus? If it is low And you piety/turmoil tasks, wear proselyte plate. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. He could upgrade to an ardy cape, but he's getting a SW cape soon, so doesn't really matter. You can't solo any GWD boss effectively, OP. You won't make money doing it. TDs are your best bet, probably. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

JPMC Mate
That is why I asked his prayer bonus, but nomatter, I just posted a suggestion so no need to say anything if it wasn't too bad of a suggestion.
