Up to Japan if he accepts.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

I lift the embargo, but it's up to Japan if he accepts instead of attacking you.

Brazil offers to mediate the situation or propose a compromise situation, if Japan or Indonesia is interested.

Italy is neutral towards the war. We do not wished to get involved under current circumstances. We do hope that the war ends quickly, and as such, requests that Japan does not retaliate so that the war may end faster.

In 3 years, Project A will be complete.

In 16 years, Project B will be complete.

Italy currently holds an army of 50,000 troops.

Any remaining funds will go to Infrastructure.

Well there's a difference between telling two countries to work it out and writing an agreement that they can both work with and amend.

Brazillian Compromise:

Indonesia

-Apoligizes for the unwarranted attack on civilians (note the civilian part, not that the attack on Japan itself was wrong)

-Releases a statement that it will attempt to prevent deaths of civilians during disagreements between governments

-Indonesian president lays a wreath on memorial for civilian casualties in Tokyo (Photo Op moment?)

-Pacifies war hawks in government and signs peace treaty

-Donates 10 billion towards rebuilding of Tokyo (mainly symbolic)

Japan

-Accepts apology humbly and promises not to counterattack

-Calms public and signs peace treaty

-Lays wreath on memorial for civilian casualties in Tokyo

If we want to get really picky with the actual mechanical and monetary details, basically Indonesia is apoligizing for attacking a major population center and giving Japan 10 billion dollars. Of course, the other stuff adds good feeling and cements peace.

Due to certain circumstances I can't reveal, I can't accept to any deal that does not involve the Indonesian army being dissolved.

Yeah, he's not going to do that.

He sounds like an AI when it comes to war.

-no army left-

-half their provinces occupied-

-ask for one province-

NOPE

-ask for white peace-

NOPE

-sends their peace deal where I give up a few provinces, concede defeat and pay them half my treasurery-

-Proceed to capture and annex them-

I love EU3 negotiation system.

I declare war on a country relatively far away. Watch my coast for a few years, intercepting their escort-less transport ships, wait for their war wariness to hit 50%, tell them to disband their empire or continue the war.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Well that's the point.

If he breaks the peace treaty, then his prestige is going to tank and he is not going to be trusted. Not to mention lots of countries would probaly step in to help you. Your military could probaly still stand on alert or something.

That's why I put all that propaganda stuff in there, so that it would be a big hit if someone broke the peace.

Brazil releases the compromise document to the general public. The basic goal is to force a peace. If one nation accepts and the other does not, the other will hopefully be seen as needlessly continuing the conflict and the loss of innocent lives.

Indonesia does nothing in anticipation of the massive attack that will soon occur.

OOC: Just sign the damn document and accuse Japan or China of violating world peace already
