Money making

hey, so i have a goal of getting bandos for slayer. ( only bcp and tassy ) so i wanted to know a few ways to make money. i do kindom, that makes me about 1-2m extra a week. i can do farming runs, but if i do that.. i don't do my other things because it takes me 20 minutes to do a run. I'm 80 attack, strength, and defence ( only 100k xp from 80 defence. ) my skills such as woodcutting,fishing, and runecrafting are pretty low so those wouldn't do me any good. any ideas? note: i will be willing to drop slayer for a while to make some $.

How high of a slayer lv are you going after?

 

I'm 99 slayer and I never used bandos, call me old school if you will lol.

 

I just found that for me personally barrows armor (top and legs) works just fine for me.

 

I think it is odd that it takes you more than 10 minutes to do a farm run. Personally it takes me 6 minutes to farm 5 farm patches, I just farm herbs and limp roots

 

If you need money, it looks like your wc is high enough to cut yews effectively?

 

Also don't forget to buy your daily stave allowance from zaff, you can always sell them on the ge for a profit, you can buy more staves the more difficult var tasks you do.

well you can always do the basics said above everyday which will always help and on top of that you could simple mindless repetitive tasks like green dragons and such if you are desperate for money

I'd say, use Verac's skirt + proselyte top as normal, farm, slay, and when your cashpile is large, buy a chestplate. Be sure to get a fury & berserker ring before Bandos though.

why a fury and zerker before bandos chestplate? just curious. also, when i do farming, its hard for me to slay at the same time because i only play in short bits of time and once then repeat throughout the day. so when i log back on later, i have to farm.

A Bandos chestplate has 4 more strength than other plates. A berserker ring has 4 more strength than any other ring.

 

Same with fury versus tassets, both have 2 strength more than the alternatives (those being glory and v skirt). But fury + Verac's skirt also has a ton more defence and prayer.

hmm, this has been eye opening. Maybe i won't go for bandos. ( it is a little expsensive. ) plus if i died wouldn't want to lose bandos. i like my fighters torso because it was free, good stats, and looks cool. By the way, i just got something called a "vecna skull." from a fire giant. it's worth like 8.7m? that's insane! what happens if you draw the power from it?

Apparently it gives a magic boost. I would say that the price Jagex gave it an absolute joke.

From what I heard its street price is already way below that. I'd say sell it ASAP and rebuy it (if needed) later.

Your farming run should not take more than 5 min ever as you should only be doing herbs and limps (not if you have jujus).

 

Get a scroll of life and cleansing. Farm your most profitable herb and if its not torstol turm them into unf pots for more profiit.

 

Continue with MTK, 1-2 mil a week sounds about right for 9 maples 6 herbs.

 

Dailies, battlestaffs from naff and broad bolttips/arrowtips from your slayer master are the most profitable I believe. I only do these three things and average over 20 mil a week with no other sources of income.
