March 20, 201115 yr My mate was going to fight me in safe clan wars because we were both bored. I arrived there and someone else challenged me, at this point I didn't know this was a different friend of mine on another account. I fought him a couple times, and killed him for this: We were all on TS and this is when they told me it was actually my friend who just died to me. I did give it all back but fml lol that would've tripled my bank.
March 20, 201115 yr I'd of kept it. Who cares if its friends "joking" you weren't in on it and legitimately killed a guy to get the drop. March 20, 201115 yr So?Doesn't alter the fact you killed him fairly and squarely. If you did a private online poker match and beat the guy for $200 then it turned he was ur friend you wouldn't give the money back; you won it fair and square. March 20, 201115 yr I'm not mixing up anything. If anything real life you;d be more likely to give it back. After pixels r worthless compared to rl stuff. My point still stands:You killed him fairly; you had no prior agreement to give the stuff back. Therefore I'd of kept it. Sure, techinically you could have kept the items. But if you were a true friend you wouldn't make excuses to why you could keep their stuff. Friends>Pixels. Nice kill though, I would have trolled and logged out. Edited March 20, 201115 yr by pantim Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. Sounds like if you made good friends with someone for years and they lent u 10m to get back on your feet, you'd take it instantly. I hate people with your attitude, seriously. What if, the person that killed you (OP creator), decided to not return your items if you had lost? That's the scenario that we did not consider. So, it's not totally right to deem what Sy_Accursed said to be wrong, even though friends truly matter more than pixels. Consider 2 different issues. Yeah, like that zaryte bowwaitrecharge costs = ammo. So, all melee weapons are overpowered, at least.this combat triangle finally makes sense...
March 21, 201115 yr Author Must be reading wrong :P He just wanted to hear me get all excited because he barely tried bridding lol

So, it's not totally right to deem what Sy_Accursed said to be wrong, even though friends truly matter more than pixels. Consider 2 different issues. There's two entirely different situations mentioned hre. No if someone lent me 10m I wouldn't run off with that is a loan.In this case the op met an apparent stranger. Was challenged to fight.Fought apparent stranger and downed him for a drop. Then his friends were like lol its an account we have u dont know. It's not quite the same as a mutual situation, he killed the guy assuming it was a stranger and got the drop. He never agreed prior to this tht it was a borrowing or a lending or a set up; so he has no obligation to give the items back as such.Sure the nice thing to do is to give it back perhaps, but given tht u got the drop fair and square and have no prior arrangement to have a fun fight n return stuff you are not in anyway obligated to give it back Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
March 22, 201115 yr I would've kept the Dragon Claws and gave the rest back.Just a small sign that people should not pull pranks on me. So I agree with Sy on this one.
March 25, 201115 yr What I'm reading between the lines here is that your friends tried to set you up and down you for your gear. It backfired at which point they played the "friend" card and received their items back. Unless you know these guys irl (like have met them) there was no reason to give the items back. This is Runescape. This isn't some prestigious guild on WoW in which honesty and loyalty actually matters. This is Runescape. Next time take the damn claws and let your "friends" sort it out. April 3, 201115 yr You got played. That is all I can say by reading this. Friend told you after he died who he was. If you had died, do you think he would have told you who he was? You say "he barely tried bridding" IF he was your friend setting you up he would have just let you kill him without fighting back. You lost out on 50m my friend.
