Maul can be used solo with soulsplit flashing (maul and Graar have the same attack speed), though I question its usefulness. But considering how minimal the difference is supposed to be, Rapier is probably your better choice anyways because it's much better then the longsword at almost everything else. You bring a defender with you and when someone comes to crash you bust it out. If you have a CLS at that point, you are SCREWED, because rapier + def crashes the hell out of CLS + def. -CLS sucks for minion kills. March 25, 201115 yr rapier is better with a defendercls is better with a shield that being said, the only shield worth using at bandos is a divine for a soloand your chance of getting crashed is extremely high no matter what so really you should never be using a shield at bandos.. in summary rapier and defender for solo best optionrapier and defender for small ffa (2-4) hardly worth doingmaul for large ffa (4-6) not worth doingfor mass (6+) dont go ever It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod.
