I used Vegas Pro to zoom in and yes, it is a plant.

Banned because NOPE, it's an animal. I took the picture myself, this was the only one that didn't have motion blur from it swimming. The plant-ness is camouflage.

Banned because I know what animal was to begin with. It looks like one and is one of the few animals that can pull of a plant camouflage.
