Banned for missing the lightsaebering.

Of course I wasn't gonna point that out because that was NOT a problem with the pic. Banned for not realizing that.

Banned because the following should make your jaw drop... "

" :D

Double-Banned because I feel like Ryan Wieber cheated in that video. <_<

Triple-Banned because I can't preset the video to 720p without it getting auto-hide-tagged...

As for this:

Double-banned because I now wonder what happens if you apply violinist's bow to an electric guitar's string... :-k

. 10 or so minutes in.

I don't think Led Zeppelin did it right. The bow got wrecked. Bows don't get wrecked on Violins/Cellos, so it should be possible for them to not get wrecked on other instruments like Electric Guitars. :(

Banned because everyone should give "

" a complete listen at no less than 480p/720p quality. :shades:

Banned for the video post spammage.

Banned because "video post spammage" would (in my opinion) be either more than 2 videos in a person's single post on one page, or more than 3 videos across all of a person's posts on one page. I haven't exceeded that limit as of yet, to my knowledge. :geek:

I can answer this one. The short answer is that violins are not guitars and violin bows are built with violins in mind.

The strings are positioned differently: all six of an electric guitar's (usually steel and surprisingly sharp) strings are parallel, while a violin's (Nylon? Organic? I'm not a violinist) are placed at an angle so that the bow can sound each string individually. You could play an electric guitar like a violinist or a cellist, but it just wouldn't sound as good.

Furthermore, violinists don't strike their strings with the bow, while Jimmy Page does.

...Guitars aren't meant to be played with a bow.
