Ok, well since the ROW update some monsters drop items for the RDT. Now, which monster would be the best to kill to get these. I'd love to get a Vecna or something, but I'd like to know. Also, I don't have 85 Slayer, so no Abby Demons... :mellow:

Ice wyrms drop from the rare drop table very frequently compared to other monsters. However you can't camp these and they're 93 slayer :P

 

Dust devils and fire giants are also good.

 

An easy way to judge this is by how often the monster drops gems. Gems are the common drop on the rare drop table, so when a monster drops more of then it means it has a slightly higher chance of "spinning" the rare drop "wheel".

 

I'm not sure if the Vecna skull really is a drop from the rare wheel, or just a very rare drop added to a few monsters, similiar to what a visage.

 

I'd recommend dusties and fire giants with a ROW of course

they're basically a by product of training slayer..

It is a good drop though...my friend got 3 yesterday killing abbyssal demons, but since I don't have 85 slayer... <_<

Not really - the time invested in trying to get one would be a much greater cost then it's prospective yield.

 

If you're going to hunt for a drop - at least hunt for something that's worth >10 mil (and isn't dropping like a rock)

I've heard people getting it from blue dragons - so if you really wanted to make money, that's probably your best bet.

 

With 70+ agility, a war tortoise, and decent combat stats/pots - you can easily make ~700k an hour from bones/hides alone

However, it seems that there are a lot more bots (this past week or two) hiding out at the resource dungeon with the blue dragons so I don't know how exactly that might affect your rate.

It is very, very rare. It's like hunting for a Dragon Full Helm; you're much better off doing a consistent moneymaker.
