I'm not disagreeing with you but I'm confused. Of course SNL is scripted...all the skits are written the week before. :? That's the way its suppose to be, right?

I worked at a court before, a food court.

Note to self: Do no mention it was a food court.

What do I do, what do I do?

Food court

Ya obviously its scripted, but i meant it as if they were reading theyre lines off of cue cards, which is just lame imo, and not acting

Also, Bobby Lee does a WICKED GOOD Connie Chung impersonation, hil-freaking-arious...

Also old time SNL back in the early 90's ish were really, the early to mid 90's had some of the best in my opinion

Ah...I got what you're saying - and can definitely see that.

SNL has seen better days.

Uhh of course.

Ever since Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrel, and Chris Kattan left, it sucks. The only ones on there with talent are Sanz and Tina Faye.

SNL hasn't been good since the late 90's if not earlier. The days with Phil Hartman and Chris Farley and etc. were the best hands down.

Mad TV has definitely seen better days as well, though. I don't know if they have new writers now or what, but they just don't know when to quit! They beat a joke to death in a skit so that it's not funny. General timing is crap as well.

That taco actually looked good for a while :? ...

I agree with GSW completely, SNL has fallen off ESPECIALLY last season- whole thing sucked..

This season is getting better though

That "food court" thing made me lmfao.

"Note to self..don't mention food court"

"uhh...next card...food court...food court...food court"

Wow, weird, last night I watched an episode of SNL for the first time since Farrell left. Pretty funny, but it's definatly past it's peak.

Chapelle's Show > SNL > Mad TV

Mad TV imo is just stupid. I love their parody of R. Kelly's Trapped in the Closet tho.

Saturday Night Live? I've only seen a few episodes and it's funny, sometimes.

IMO i never found SNL funny. maybe one or two skits. MadTV imo is funnier.

btw, i dont' think you can really compare snl and madtv to chappelle show.

SNL owns Mad TV. The two funniest skits i've seen on SNL is one with Chris Farley when he keeps saying "I live in a van down by the river!", and "Cork Soakers" with Janet Jacksin.

SNL made so many comedians popular. Like: Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, David Spade, Phil Hartman, Will Ferrel, and many more. SNL OWNS MAD TV!!

122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength

97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting

I like SNL, it's a pretty good show if I'm ever awake to see it. Since we're comparing though, I think MadTV is a little crude for my tastes, I just don't like the sense of humor they use on that show. It's just like a little less mature than SNL if there's such a thing.
