Unknown_Warrior
Considering my stats and lack of anything Chaotic, is it worthwhile to use deflector in stead of a Dragon defender?FYI: Stats: 80 Attack and Strength, 94 Defence, 95 Ranged, 80 Prayer, 92 Constitution, 90 Summoning + overloads. green9090
If you don't have a ccbow you REALLY want to be using Karil's xbow or handcannon, so no. Unknown_Warrior
If you don't have a ccbow you REALLY want to be using Karil's xbow or handcannon, so no. Why is that? green9090
Is this a trick question? It's the same reason you want to be using a whip instead of a rune scim. Better damage. Unknown_Warrior
I guess. I see so many posts here regarding what I need to do when ranging, even though I have a far easier time with the ranging parts of TD than with the melee parts, seeing as it takes me about twice as long whipping as it takes me crossbowing, so I'm used to invest my spare items in upping my attack bonuses as much as possible. I will consider Karil's next trip, though. Rudyaard
When using EEE and not claws I used to bring a K top and deflector... indeed, slightly slower kills but on the other hand, longer trips... Works well when you're not really in the mood of paying 100% attention
Nifflin
If you use a whip and find that you have problems then there is all the more reason to bring an offensive melee special weapon like claws. Even a dragon hally spec would give more DPS then a whip. And you want the accuracy from the defender too since a whip is lacking in that area. So pretty much, use Karils bow, use void gloves, and use claws or a d hally if you're cheap. Edit: You want faster kills even if it means shorter trips since banking is so quick. Also, you have a unicorn so there really shouldn't be any need for an EEE to heal. Remember that when overloads run out you get healed back up so you don't need to constantly heal up after each overload dose. Focusing on defensive prayer swapping will help. Oh yea, and faster kills will mean less time under attack and less potential to be damaged if you're poor at prayer swapping. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. Zenmoris
Don't forget that you really want a defender for Darklight; it almost doubles DL's pitiful attack bonus.
