New skil idea

I think they should make a new skill that would make you do tasks (rc 2k nats, cut 100 magic logs, etc etc) I think you can see where I'm going with this, it would be basically like slayer but for skilling instead this might make skilling seem less repetive for some people and I think would be cool/fun

I think this needs a lot more explanation. I mean, doesn't the tasks system/dungeoneering already accomplish this? A skill of all skills?

I really, really think we don't need any more skills and, to a lesser extent, any more quests.

 

Anyway, it's true, skills such as slayer already fulfill a similar purpose and another in the same vein would only make it seem that Jagex were adding skills for the sake of adding skills.

I think what he means, is a skill, that you gain experience from doing tasks. So, you complete a task, and depending on how hard the task is, you get exp for that skill. Then, at certain levels, maybe more tasks unlock, or maybe you can get special items that help you with the tasks. I agree, that there quiet a few skills already, but this is an interesting idea.

I've had that idea for a long time, but I just can't see it working, what would be the point doing the skill, what would be rewarding from it. And we already have tasks :)
