aerendil Posted March 31, 2011 Share Posted March 31, 2011 Right, I wana try nex again, after my disastrous first few attempts <_< :rolleyes: First few tries I had rsof teams, which is like duoing gwd with a str pure. -.- Then I tried tif nex team, and being paranoid, and with my previous bad experiences, i wore a rol -.- Have regretted this ever since. My gear: elite void, maul, rapier, bandos, yak, ovls ect ect, but no ccbow/divine/ely /rigour -.- Where/who with can I find a team for nex? I want to try again, and make the remaining 200m for ely :pray: If anyone is willing to take me, would be much appreciated, or if you can tell me where to find a team. Quyneax Posted March 31, 2011 Share Posted March 31, 2011 I'd say get two things: deflector and ccbow. If you got those you should be alright. You would use void, with the top and claws and maul and rapier (and perhaps barrows gloves/defender) as switches. Basically claw smoke, maul several stages (all with turmoil), soul split the shadow phase w/ ccbow, rapier the mages. The advantage for you is that you don't need to get rigour. The Nex Hunters require ccbow/rigour I think, as well as that you tank the first three drops (e.g. you won't get any drops, it's ffa). You could perhaps join OTG but they have a strict activity requirement. Taken straight from the Nex Hunter's thread, and what I'm working off to get myself ready for nex. Basically get all of that, that way you are more versatile if you can use curses/moderns, as well as void/non-void setups, and they will be more likely to take you. Also, get a Pernix Cowl for a cheapish, decent Nex item. And they won't screw around, if you used a ROL and can't do both the curses and moderns method, I can't speak for then, but I don't think let you back in unless they really needed you bad. Because a ring of vigour/imbued ring just is almost necessary for nex. JOIN CHICKENSWEEPERS TODAY!
