April 1, 201115 yr My little brother came to me asking for help; He can't seem to type on runescape. I thought "hey, he must have [bleep]ed up and got muted", but then I checked his black marks and messages, all clean. He's not in a quickchat world either, and it's not faulty hardware, because he logged on my PC to test it. I'm stumped.
April 1, 201115 yr Strange. I had the same problem yesterday. My guess would just be lag in one of the worlds he was in. I was in W44 yesterday and the game was playing fine but it wouldn't let me type and ended up not letting me interact with my inventory (drinking ppots, ect). Try other worlds?

I tried various world AND changed accounts. Other accounts could type just fine.

It is known to happen, even to people saying "I am 12 and what is this" or whatever that saying is.
