April 2, 201115 yr A rock lobs run usually take like 8 hours so you want to kill them as fast as possible to not die of boredom. So even if you want to save money, i'd use barrage. Tome of Frost is NOT a waste of tokens and it's pretty useful there. Also AZN if you have it. As for battle robes, they do save lots of money. If you can't stand FoG or have lots of money, don't use them. Quest cape achieved on 7/11/2010.You'd have to be some sort of masochist to want to be a forum moderator on the RSOF. They're honestly better off, imo.

But yes, the tome of frost is worth like 1m gp over the course of 99 summoning & battle robes are inefficient for bursting at least. For barraging they are kinda worth it if you don't have an iron titan. Though I'd still say black demons > rock lobsters for you as you get effigy xp& opportunity to finish 99 strength & ranged xp.
