  1. wut.. yes they are... they sing jazz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSsZtjvNs7w
  2. I like the fact that "defense needs fixing" but I dislike when someone starts "suggesting" how to actually fix it... There's more here than just a few hits from some monsters, defense is a huge skill that involves all the game and it can not be changed that easily. Sure, when I was in the crafting guild mining gold for money I also wanted it to have a bank, a furnace, etc, etc... but we have to know that Jagex has to keep a balance, not only in combat but in the whole game. Adding life point boost to rune armour would be stupid, anyone can easily buy that set with minimal effort now, people would rage and torva would crash. There's many things that need "fixing" in runescape but we, as players, have to understand that some things just work like that and that's the game we chose to play. I liked the 2nd article, seemed well written and I enjoyed reading it. :) The 3rd one shocked me thought, I didn't expect people to do that to newcomers..
  3. Finally got this attack level :P Also, it's surprising how empty dagannoths are without bots...
  4. I've always had a ping of 200 or more, wich makes prayer flashing almost impossible, and always suffered that in form of lag... but I could still play. As the time passed, thought the ping was getting better, the FPS fell like crazy. I could run runescape in high quality 1 or 2 years after HD came out, now I get 5 FPS on safe mode. So there is really a difference... lag has always been there for me, but not this low performance I got this year along with the bot nuke >_>
  5. I have the same problem, that doesn't solve it... but my PC is old and rusty, the only solution is getting a new one I guess.
  6. I was wondering why i never got the Dragonkin cutscene, I still have 100k xp left :P
  7. You forgot RSC reopening :D I would be sad if that was a week's update too thought... would mean more time to wait for ROTM :(
  8. Contrary to popular belief, his magic attack is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It's irritating because it drains prayer points, but I believe it can't hit above 400. So unless someone is a complete derp and makes him mage several times, making him mage isn't the end of the world. Obviously it's important that you do your best not to make him mage, but that mistake is more forgivable than getting dragged or blown up. I thought only melee drained pray?
  9. Spirit cape only works with combat scrolls.
  10. gt is group gatestone, gd is guardian door and m is move. So: Move the group gatestone to the guardian door. Obviously if you didn't have a gd gated you couldn't do this. Then maybe everyone got mad because you were supposed to gate a gd and you didn't.
  11. Does this mean that i'll have to get 99 attack (and possibly defence too) to get primal baxe and gaunts or 99 magic for ccs, if i don't get lucky getting a neck?
  12. If you are still worried, and would rather not use Unpack Keys, or if AVG won't let you, you can skip the Unpack Keys by creating a folder in My Documents called Keying. You can then extract this ZIP file to that location (My Documents\Keying). As you can see from the source code of Unpack Keys, that's all it does. :P. A screenshot of the new layout: [spoiler=Screenshot] Updates: Home teleport option! Changed the layout to be, what I thought to be, a tad easier. Rather then unpacking and having it store/use 64 key images, all the images are packed into a Resource.dll. This means: faster, no transparency issues/corrupt files. * All-in-all, it should run smoother and require less memory usage. Freezing issues should be fixed. I believe it was a problem with the GDI+ trying to create the PBITMAP from the key image file. Now that it used Resource.dll, this should no longer be an issue! * - See above in the Must Read list. The contents of Resource.dll are listed below and can be verified using various tools such as Resource Hacker: [spoiler=Resource.dll] To-Do: Add the option to remap keys, as some don't have middle mouse buttons. Add the option to capture/display the last captured dungeon map. Possibly add the ability for other members in the DG to edit the map. This will require a secure method of PC communication, which will take time. Add an auto-update feature. Merge with the skill script to add/display rooms with skill doors or resources or altars. Thought/comments/questions/concerns?
  13. Take 35k Buy a Corpsethorn log Make Emp fire staff ??? PROFIT!
  14. Entire floor without moving, only teleporting, sup. Getting to the ladder was annoying.
  15. Not only you need food but you also kill it slower, so no. Just pray melee and kill him without taking any damage at all, it's not that hard once you learn how to time it.
  16. You don't need to sgs on spirit mage tasks because you can easily carry all needed prayer pots in your invent (don't even need that many, too). Try again. I know that, and that's not the point, the point was the prayer pots I saved, not the fact that it would help me complete my task. And like Dungeoneering, SGS is a love or hate situation. Some love it, some hate it, you can't change that. It's not about love or hate, it's a useless weapon. EEE is way more useful and if you don't have that you are better off spending your cash on extremes than a SGS.
  17. Err, also, what difference does each upgrade to the Berserker ring make? The first post says it's non-trivial, but 230k tokens seems like quite a bit to pay for T10. I do have T9 though. :) Theres not much else to buy with the tokens anyways.
  18. Yet another article about bots :P I agree with this one thought, if bots don't get in my way, why would i care? But really, i don't understand how grinding is something new in runescape. It's always been like that, why is it worse now? The other article was awesome, i really want to play classic after reading that :P
  19. Same old bull [cabbage] about "Your not forced". That¨s what people always say when i mention it¨s to much grinding. My solution has always been: If you want to call yourself a "Completionist player", Jagex should reward you but not take combat players down the drain by giving you combat stats for your reward From my point of view, Completionist cape (untrimmed) is currently the best stat cape in game. In other words, it¨s a item relevant to Combat. And i don¨t see why i should grind "GAME OVER" for it. And if my view is a wrong one, does that mean that Combat items should evolve around GREAT GRINDING? There is "No, this is an exception". Your either for mass grinding for a combat item, or your against it. I didn¨t mind that some items (Excalibur for example) required some other stats, but items like Comp cape is to much. POINT SHORT AND SIMPLE: Combat items should not require heavy grinding. Comp cape should be no exception. I don't get this... Are you jealous because he's killing stuff 2% faster than you with that 0.5 str and +10 attack, angry because he can crash you at bandos? Why would you want to go for that cape besides the emote, anyways. Once you get it you completed the game. I agree that achievement capes were made to show off and some people only get them to show off, but you can brag your skills with quickchat too. OMG REMOVE QUICKCHAT NAO. No.
