1. Granite maul is 75 slayer, not 85. 2. Smithing is alredy cheap (2-4gp/xp). 3. Dragon and granite suck too, only level 60s use it. I don't see many 60s with 99 smith.

A rock lobs run usually take like 8 hours so you want to kill them as fast as possible to not die of boredom. So even if you want to save money, i'd use barrage. Tome of Frost is NOT a waste of tokens and it's pretty useful there. Also AZN if you have it. As for battle robes, they do save lots of money. If you can't stand FoG or have lots of money, don't use them.

What? That is 5m/hr.. what you say is "if you make 5m/hr, dropping them is better". Powermining granite is better than iron anyways, specially at 76 mining. Granite is 70k/hr with good attention and urns (do urns even work for granite?). If you can't stand powermining, do as i did and mine concentrated coal. Doesn't take much longer anyways.

Korasi special doesn't work in multicombat (hits 10s hehe). So I find the EE useful too (specially when that far away demon comes along <_<)

Everyone seems to get this wrong, why can't people actually read the news... Quoting the KB: For example: I had 38 and 39 open today and i did 40 (for second time) it took the xp from 39 as if i just did 39, next time i do 40, it would take xp from 38. I highly doubt it would be that many crims. I am myself going for 99 summoning bursting rock lobs, currently lv93 with charms for 95, and i have calculated that i will need 10k crims (making irons and yaks) to get 95-99 summon with crimsons only. Also, if you want a tip, for lures, i use SGS and spec a melee dagganoth. This way, i bring 1 prayer pot per 3k casts and im good enough! ;) It saves a lot of invo space for anything else you'd like. (I also have a +48 pray bonus gear for lures, and still have like 10+ free invo slots. My pray gear is guthix mitre, proselyte top and legs, SGS, guthix cloak, SW Cape.) Hope it helps, good luck! :thumbup: Iron titans and yaks give more xp per crimson charm, about 40xp more than swamp titans, and he isn't even 85 yet. Also for the setup you could use tome of frost, as you don't need so much accuracy and the free water runes can save some cash in the long run. :P About the Arc stream, it's still +14 magic attack (one less than third age amulet iirc) and helps to kill that last lob that won't want to die. :P

Ahrims/battle robes, depending on your gp/hr and stuff. Infinity boots Soul wars cape Arcane Stream is just awesome for any kind of maging you do, ever. Don't bother with Ext/magic pots. Super prays could help (never used them myself) but usually my robes degrade before i finish 15 pray pots, so i don't think it would be much better using degradable robes. Finally, you are looking for around 15-17k crimsons, the summoning calculator would help for this.

And then every monsterhunting team in existence requires you to have ~99 smithing to go bandos/armady/dks/nex. Think that might generate a few rants as aswell, don't you? How many NON COMBAT SKILLS should we have to max to compete with others at COMBAT. If all non-combat skills had high level untradeables it would make the game much more interesting; adding more content, diversity and purpose to skills is never a bad thing. All non combat skills (or almost all of them) tie into combat somehow. Somebody else had an amazing couple posts about this in the 200m all skills thread. Really, the biggest complaint is that people don't want high level content because they are too lazy to get high levels. That's like saying that luxury cars shouldn't be made because you personally can't afford them. This. Smithing is not hard to train at all, i've had 99 banked for a year with no good reason to get it. With the new workshop, smithing is even easier. Now we need a REASON to train it.

Coal deposits are actually less xp/hr. That's why most of the people do iron/granite to 80 then start with gold deposits.

How did you get 91 Dg in first place? O_o
