How to use my charms?

Guy

Recommended Posts

I'm wondering how to use my charms that I've accumulated. Like, which ones should I use first, and also on what. I have

1571 Gold

1122 Green

1158 Crimson

212 Blue

Summoning level: 56

The most cost effective method would be great. Thanks all

I would use the lowest exp ones first, meaning gold, then green, then crim and save the blues. Also I would make things that I plan on using, like bunyip, or rock lobster. Id rather get things I can use then worry about efficiency...

Making the most efficient pouches and buying the ones you need later is smarter.

My lame drops:
6 Effigys
1 D Med - 1 D Dagger
1 Verac's Helmet - 1 Guthan's Platebody

not always

for example - OP has 56 summoning

golds for sure are not very efficient but are good for his level

I wouldn't do it based on efficiency but rather a combination of cost and availability.

If I were you - I would save the blues til later (unless you're dying to get rid of them)

I'll tell you how I did it - I'm not sure if it was efficient or not

Basically I calculated what I needed to get to lvl 68 summoning (Bunyip) and just farmed til I got the appropriate amount of charms for them.

^Of course I did it during BXP weekend so it was a lot easier for me then it would be normally.

At:

56 - I did Ilbis

61 - Smoke Devils

64 - Stranger Plants

66 - Barket Toads

I'm assuming i should use them in the order gold green crimson blue? or green gold crimson blue? i've heard stuff about greens being worse xp rate than gold.

Green cost the same as crimsons but give roughly the same exp as gold charms... so green charms are evil, unless you got bunyip and unicorns or fruitbats..=)

I like to think of the Dark Bow like a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) - you get one shot and then you're screwed.

Charmpattern works, save your blue charms until level 79/89 for ~200-300 more xp each (also much higher cost though).
