What is a monster, preferably non-boss, that has okay-decent drops with a chance of s huge payoff rare drop?

 

Like metal or black dragons with visage. But not them haha. I've spent a lot of time thinking about this. And, well, I've given up. So what monsters fall into that category? And I mean like, one that you could realistically "farm".

Dust devils could still be decent, if you have the slayer. I remember someone got from like 70 range or around there, to 99 range. Camped there with b2p tabs i think, and made plenty, aswell as obviously getting 99 range... Probably not as good as alot of others, but just a suggestion.

Frost dragons. And, of course, metal and black dragons. That's pretty much it.

 

Dust devils are pretty bad- they don't really drop anything worth picking up besides d chain, and that's insanely rare and not worth that much.

Most slayer monsters and some others now have a chance to drop valuebla noted items up to 18mil in one drop, it is rare though.

Chaos dwarves in the battlefield. I usually get around 2-3 cannons and 500+ shots in an hour. They also have a chance of dropping dragon pickaxe though it really is rare. Downside is there is fair amount of competition now that dpick has climbed back up to over 10m. Though it depends if you rank 11m+ rare drop as "huge" payoff.

Metals also have the nice chance of an elite clue which I personally would class as somethign worthwhile hunting for.

If you can, get the dungeoneering req for the metals resource dungeon, think i only saw three other people there getting 98-99 mage on steels.

(and a fair few effigy, elites, court summons and dragon drops were nice too :D)
