  1. 1. Which Campaign?

Recommended Posts

I do have the attitude of a sore loser, but i'd prefer the term 'insane person who doesn't like giving up.' Fits me a bit better. Also, Nex has the attitude of an enthusiest. However you spell that...

Also, I prefer to think that I go outside the box by going back into the old dusty attics of the box and taking things outside for some fresh new twists.

I'm quite the sore loser.

But then again who the hell feels good about losing?

Anywho, I'll make a new character for tonights session hopefully. Also I don't want to sound mean here but everyone who has played hegemony has not really used any form of strategy. So no one is really a strategist here. I think Dusty is exempt from this because he seems to be the only one who actually goes for what he wants, everyone else just waits until someone does something and pounces on them.

Oh and just goes full force nature on their asses.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Arch, using all technobabbles on research you actually have a reason to do (plans, necessity or usefulness (upgrading stuff that you don't need to upgrade but feel that could do with some improvement)) is ok, right?

Probably. It is just my get out clause to prevent level 15 sweeperbots being invented simply because they can.

But then again who the hell feels good about losing?

Man with an atomic trigger connected to his heart?

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

No it doesn't, that is a gross generalisation.

Masochists enjoy occassionally recieving some level of pain, usually, but not prerequisitely, with sexual connotation, but almost universally it is about trusting whoever is inflicting the pain not to cause damage that is irrevocably harmful, or excruicatingly painful.

Losing randomly in a game is not about trust, it is about randomly losing in a game.

There is a line between pain and pleasure, for masochists there is some overlap of that line, but the point where pleasure stop and only pain remains still exists.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Archi: Is kT also needed to make things materialized as described earlier?

Hahaha, I don't research 'cuz I have to. I'm being conservitave (however that bloody word is spelled) with my points, which is why I still have like 17 of them to use up.

Awwwww so I can't call Nex nii-san if I'm older than him. No wonder why we don't seem to get along :D

And I will also kindly mention that it was Nex's idea that I come here. Simply put: Bumped into eachother on Runescape, I told him I like RPGs, he invites me to here. End of story. Never got the chance to really bother with Hegemony (whatever that is/was).

So who exactly is the oldest here? As far as I understand: Mather is older than me and Nex is younger than me. That puts everyone else either in the older-than-mather catagory, the younger-than-nex catagory, somewhere-between-mather-and-lynx, or somewhere-between-lynx-and-nex catagory. I is so confuzzled with this and calender birthday hunting will most likely take forever here.

Why do people say that? I don't remember most of the stuff people have described until I see it described again...or until they use it.

I am the oldest(20), followed by Dusty(also 20).

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

As far as I knowthe order is Doom (Wisp), Iey, Archi, Dusty (Nero), Sere (Andvari), Mask, Wyvren, me, Icu, Grim, Ross*, you, Rocco, Nex, Earth*, Retech*. I don't know Dungeonal (a_bert), Pieis (Stork), Trol (Spork), Rpg, Vix, Paul or Res' ages.

*Age known, but may be slightly off due to unknown date.

Archi, you forgot Doom and Iey.

Archi, people do that because they don't like repeating themselves when it comes down to more than one sentence. Honestly would you want to say " I could probably learn abit of psiconics and use that to control when I shoot a plasma ball. I also still have the TBS, if I really badly want to shoot a plasma something (or anything for that matter) at someone, I'll just have to learn to use it (again). I also might as well see if I can get the TBS to fold in on itself/ shrink/ open up and materialize into the TBS (like the Lightcycles in Tron Legacy...)" The unslashed sentence was a mouthful just to type! Though, I do know another scentence that I had to type today anyway.

So let me rephrase my question Archi: Archi, if I were to invest a research point to make the TBS materialize from a smaller (like pocket size that wont break in the pocket) version into it's normal current size, would that also cost me kT, which I most likely do not have?

[hide=Don't bother reading this complicated first paragraph to a report I have to write unless you badly want to]In the time before the Civil War in the United States, many people argued about abolition. Abolition is the legal prohibition and ending of slavery in the United States. To the people in the Northern States, who had factories to produce goods, believed that slavery was morally wrong. However, in the Southern States, where slaves were needed to work in the plantations, slavery was not immoral. Also, in the Southern States, slaves were considered property and could be treated however the master of the plantation decided. Slaves live together in small cabins, barely feed and clothed properly, and often worked in brutal conditions, beaten, bloodied, and bruised, with scars of immense numbers across their backs. Some slaves escaped into the north and told their tales of the horrors of slavery, thus causing the North to demand the abolishment of slavery.[/hide]

By that logic so is H2PM, Goonstalf, Necromagus, Rainy_Day, Synthox, 5361, Cowman_133, Y_Guy, Racheya, Meol, Das, Aeon_, Rob, N_odie, Stevepole, Tripsis, Veghatermeatlover, Mask (Mask should be included anyway, he has us in his signature =P)

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Mask is included in my list, Hex (Veghatermeatlover) is not because he's banned, Das, Racheya and Trip are admins and the others haven't had anything even remotely close to a log enough stay here to count as one of us, the closest ones among them are the Forum Gamers who actually came to visit because we are the ones who are here.

Uhm.... Nice topic.

Anywho back ontopic.

My new character

Name: Max Galaxis

Class: Commander

Speciality: Tactical

Backstory:

It was a deathly silent simulated night onboard the Galactic Blade. Max was lazely moping in his captain's chair. Bored from the week of surprising peace in the Berlin system, the aluding asteroid fields proved to be a good place for pirate ships to hide away from Terran offcials. Surrounded by his frenzied crew, hungry for loot Max called out "Oi! We aint burnin coal for nutin, full speed ahead!"

There was a huge cheer on the bridge until one crewmember remarked "But cap'n we don't bur-" he was quickly silenced by a high five to the face, courtesy of Max himself.

"Shuddup you wankers" He warned in a booming voice, his British accent becoming thicker from the bloodlust he was building up.

It was not long until the roaring engines of the Galactic Blade caught the attention of other local pirates, who were also keen on a deathmatch.

"Cap'n we got enemies off the starboard!! ORDERS!?" his navigator announced excitedly.

"GIVE EM 'ELL LADS! I'LL KILL THE MAN WHO KILLS THEIR CAPTAIN FIRST!"

It was heavily a one sided fight. Max got ahead of himself and did not notice the pirate FLEET instead of just the pirate ship.

His ship was destroyed, but he and a few of his crew were able to use an enemy escape pod to luckily make it to the astare system. Peniless and reduced to only a 5 man crew including himself, Max is keen to get those bastards back.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.
