Not that easy to break out of a high-value genetic engineering lab... Amnesia is a cheap, inadequate writer's cop-out. Her memories have nothing to do with it. She's recieving funding from someone, anonymous or no. Unfortunately, he ahd to 'fake' her death, in order to make sure there wouldn't be any inquiries. This lead to her amnesia of events prior, but the good doctor continued helping Salem, leading up to her being admitted to the Unity. Does that work?
